Some type of grading would be nice

I am sitting here with 5 assignments pending for the damn research class. The professor is doing nothing to grade citation 1 leaving 2,3, and 4 in limbo. Quotations and paraphrasing cannot be submitted till citation 3 is graded. Now I sit getting ramped up to do Critiques 1 and cannot do crap with it either. I want to scream! I let Logan pick a movie to watch (using the term watch loosely) while I do class work. I am constantly interrupted, and asked to do this and that. Telling him he is neither Harry Potter or one of the other Tri-Wizards so "flying" off the couches, stairs in uncalled for. I could have just talked to the wall, might have got through to it better. Sully is just burrowing in his bed, and avoiding the preschool wizard as he runs through the house.

Today would be a banner day to bring Logan out to the YMCA and release him in the adventure challenge for an hour while I either work on school stuff or chat it up with some of the other employees. Instead I sit at home still with no wheels waiting for Sealy's to call and say my Rav is good as new and I can come and pick it up. I keep checking my phone, just in case. Sad, I know!

One thing I found rather interesting from the being home with Logan is his ability to grasp words isn't just photographic memories from pages in the books he reads to us. He picked up my Critique paper and was picking out several words from it. I was impressed. Guess all the reading to him and having him read and write, word of the day, ect., are paying off. Now, if he would only listen better! I think I will put him on his smart-cycle and have him ride, I may work out too. Hmmm.

Eco friendly?

How can compact bulbs be the new latest and greatest when you break one you need to call Haz Mat? If you reside in/around the "Greenest City in America" according to Yahoo.com and you have no recycling centers for the burnt out bulbs are you really green?

We are looking into the LED bulbs that are beginning to seep into Walmart. They are even more efficient then the CFL bulbs. Sure they are about 6 bucks a shot right now and are rare to find. The wattage is a bit low, but this is how I remember the CFL's coming in. CFL's when we started buying them about 2 years ago were about 12 bucks for a 4 pack, wattages were limited and low. Here is an example out 40 watt equivilant bulb in CFL is 13 wattage output. Our new LED has 1.3 watt output. CFL's are floresent lighting no matter how you swing it, the new LED is pure white! Hmmm, which is more enviromentally friendly, and really cost efficaint? As they become more common place, I see the LED prices coming down, wattage choices up, and the new eco-friendly fad. They will replace the CFL, as CFL's are replacing the incandecent filiment bulbs. Once again the bleeding heart tree huggers didn't do all the research, leached on to "the next best thing" and once again it was not the best, it was just next. Haste makes waste- hippy's!

Since I have had my camera for a while now I should start posting pics

Corey thinks I erased this. I will...now! It was the first picture with the camera, so I had to keep it! He likens the pic to a DMV photo, come on it's not THAT bad!

You can see how sick he is just by looking in his eyes. This was the day after the emergency room trip.

I was wondering if 10.1mp was nice with details. Other then the fact the lighting was compact florescent, I think it says it was a winning pick for camera. Nikon is so far, so good!

Without my wheels till Wednesday-ish

Due to the fact some ass hat hit my front quarter panel and took off without the nicety of a note, and causing a $600 in repairs. Weak. Corey insists on us getting it fixed ASAP. I can to a point see his side, you don't pay over 30k for a car and drive with an imperfection, but if the tables were turned he would take my car to work if his truck was being fixed I bet. So here I sit now with no car till about Wednesday, home with Logan and no chance to get a break as school is out till Wednesday also. Yea, that's great for the mind and blood pressure for sure!

I will hope that I can take some time out and get some research done. Logan is watching HP:Chamber of Secrets, as that is the book we are currently reading at bedtime. In preschooler speak, it means you have to watch it as many times as you can while reading the book.

Sad to see a busniess fold ever, but this one deserves it

As I sit here eating my all natural PB&J infused with flax seed and such on my 9 grain bread made this morning at the Back Alley Bakery I read this article and said, Good! They were asses that knew they could be making people sick and didn't even give a rip. That's not cold capitalism, but just cold.

Krimsin answers your question...not really

Where the heck have I been?

Thursday sucked something big. First realizing how much it would cost for the repair on the car. I understand Corey's reasoning, you spend over 30k on a car, it should look nice. Doesn't mean it still doesn't suck! If I ever catch the ass hat who hit my car I will make them think twice about ever coming within eye shot of my car again. Then there was that lovely email from Valerie stating she wanted 28 more credits to get into the program! WHAT?!?! Even Janelle doesn't know what the hell she is talking about. I'll just go get an associates if they are going to pull that shit! Medical transcription here I come...

In my never ending search for fleeting sanity, I have been a busy girl. Friday was great we had a lunch with Steve at Nick's then Logan crashed and nap was wonderful. Later we ran out and bought Madagascar 2, and some 'zza and crazy bread for dinner at our house with my friend Nicole. We chatted while Logan watched the movie. I will likely watch it again (and again) so I didn't study the movie.

Saturday and Sunday were really a blur. I do remember there was a lot of citations being done, and I didn't groom out Sully. So Monday I caved and called LaDaun to bathe/groom him so I don't have to clip the boy parts this week. I have some quotes and paraphrasing assignments due this week. Would be nice to get the first citation grade so I can submit the other two that are waiting in limbo...I'm just saying! My working bibliography is getting sizable, and I should type it out, as I hand write most things before I do them. Better retention, or maybe I am just retentive!

Westminster was a wash, the Havanese (looked like a silk to me) got no love. Looking at the judges body language, I knew "PJ" wasn't going to even make a cut. He spent too much time scrutinizing the body and the coat. I was also hoping the rat terrier would show well, one of my favorite Aunties has one. We tuned out and flipped to Encino Man. Here we sit, Logan up WAY past bedtime. But I thought an update was needed so my in box stops getting flooded with "where the hell are yous' and my favorite, "are you dead or something?" I am very much alive, better then last week, voice coming back, still getting wicked headaches though. So is life!

I am very emotionally torn right now, there is an opening in LaCrosse right now, but Corey will not put out for it. He was acting weird last week and I read he was hiding something right away. His energy was VERY off and he wouldn't say why. Finally in off topic conversation he caved and talked. He was going to keep it from me, but I broke him down (it's a talent!). I want to go home, badly, it explains the feeling of home sickness I have been feeling. Sometimes I have being perceptive with shit like that. I understand he likes his office here, but damn, he could get me home. He is choosing himself over me. I miss my friends and the family I can stand...I am a bit mad, sad, I don't know. Grrrr...

Logan want's to read 'Sometimes I Share,' to me, so I am out all! Take care.

Feel like dung

I refuse to admit to being sick. It started out as allergies. Symptoms feel better after a dose or two of Zertec, so damn it, it's not a cold. Started in my throat for about 2 days then decided my ears felt left out, and then late last night thought the lungs should join in the fun. WTH!!!! As with most Mom's I will continue what I do every flippin' day despite feeling like crap. At least Logan is healthy. Corey is feeling crappy too, so I guess it is like having a sick kid!

On an unrealted subject. I have been pushing forward with the Havanese research paper hoping I can do it. My enthusiam is low as I would rather been doing the paper on the paranormal. I had wicked awesome interviews with some great people on both sides lined up. Most I consider friends, so I can see he point on hard feelings, but, Ddamn, damn, damn! I really don't much care for the class. My emails are not being answered in my idea of a timely manor, and when I need a question answered, I would like it answered within the week. If I get a B in this class I will be shocked. Corey stats his eve and swings in the next couple weeks, so I will plunge into the depths of the other course work then, hoping to get most of it done. It's not like last semester when I had most of one class done and the book read twice by this time. It's worse than art as at least she answered my questions. Ugg! And I have to buy the study guide for math so I can go to Bellevue and test out soon too.

All fun things to think about when you feel like dung.
