How sad

You will have to read back a bit to get the whole story. A Havanese was killed by another dog while in the "care" or her professional handler.

A lesson in honesty

Most of you know Corey's parents gave us 500 dollars toward a new tv. Not that we needed another one, that was just the gift od choice this year from them. Fine. We decided on a Vizio 120hz full HD tv. I let Corey pick out the tv since I could care less. He chose the 42 inch for our bedroom, alrighty. We went to Sam's and got it this morning. Had someone pull it and meet us at the door. THe lady at the front was all in a tizzy because the sticker didn't match the receipt. I looked at her and said, it's the only 42 inch Vizio you all have...she let us go. I got out sideLogan riding on the flat bed some guy customer helped Corey load it. That was so nice. One thing about living in Nebraska I love, most are willing to help a fellow out. As I was getting ready to load Logan into the truck I told Corey about it the lady at the exit and that's why I took a couple extra seconds. HE got out and looked sure enough they pulled the 47inch and gave it to us. It was loaded up and out of the building. This was one of those What would Jesus do moments for sure. We paid for the 42inch and essentially got an upgrade. Should we just go, leave their loss? I grabbed the receipt and went to customer service, I may have circumvented a couple people getting the ladies attention but got her attention and told her of the mix up. "Good Heavens!" and she went to a floor manager, she looked at me and went to get the right one. No thank you or anything. Corey had come back in with Logan and helped her get the correct tv down. She wheeled it out to our truck and walked away. No thank you for your honesty and saving our store 500 dollars, nothing. Corey said had I not said anything we would have made it home and not noticed till we pulled it out of the box. I reasoned our decision on the fact we taught Logan a lesson in honesty. What if a family that REALLY saved for the tv went to get the last one, their hearts set on it and then there was none because we had it? I don't think I could have felt good about keeping it. I will be honest there was the temptation to just leave, but we didn't. Logan got our 38 inch in his room, it's ginormous in his room, he's in heaven. The Vizio in in our room now on the top of my highboy. It will take some getting used to, but looks great. Logan and I watched the shuttle land on NASA channel this afternoon before nap time. I look forward to seeing it later this evening. Would you have dine the same thing? I really only regret doing it since the people didn't thank us at all.

Logan all loving on baby Jesus. Kristi would be so proud!

We were at Hy-Vee this after noon and Logan loves to give money to the bell ringers. Fine, it's sweet. One lady on our way in this morning said to him sweetly, "Happy holiday's!" I thought nothing of it he pulled my arm back and said REALLY loud, "We say Merry or Happy Christmas in our home, lady! Christmas is about celebrating baby Jesus’ birthday, I just get to keep his presents. How can you miss it, his name is in the word, duh!" Well, alrighty then, little less Bill O'Reilly for him before bed! I am actually proud he stood up for saying Merry Christmas. On the way our we avoided the door we came in and he again gave a bit more change to an older lady who said God Bless you child. He walked away happy. Maybe bringing him to that church for Kristi's kiddos baptism back in the day did effect him. I was still floored when not even two he looked at pointed out Jesus on the wall, and the next statue was Mary he knew who she was too. Only to be ruined when during the ceremony he goes looking into the confessional rooms and yells really loud, "Look Mom, a potty!" Kids! Thank God (pardon the pun) it was not my church.

Bumps in the road but most shopping done

Christmas shopping is done except one more thing for Corey, the in-laws (not my problem), and Jerry and Mary. My mother is geting coal for being a bitch, I will however send her a card with Logan's picture in it because she is his Grandmother. We got some killer deals at Walmart on Friday, Jammies, and a Wall-e shirt for 4 bucks each for Logan, March of the Penguins for 2 bucks and Ratatoui or however you spell it in a double pack for 10. Corey got me a pair of fleece TinkerBell pants for another 4. 28 dollars all together there. Next to Walgreens for the buy one get one Webkinz we got him 4. Corey again bought them suprised me. Then to the guitar store to talk with Ryan about Corey's guitar. I bought Corey a guitar strap and a new cord book for his birthday since he bought the Webkinz. All and all it was sucessful moring all took about an hour and a half starting at 10am. Yea, I am not the rise and shine type when going to bed at 2AM! Corey's fault really for tossing and turning. I got up at close to 8 with the offspring Corey was up closer to 10. I was happy we decided on what to get Logan when we did. Switching from the Nintendo DS to the Leapster 2 I think was a prudent idea. He still needs that subtle infusing of education to get him going. I kicked myself for not pressing for the LG Scarlet last week when they were sickly low priced, they have since doubled since Thursday night. So now we are looking at a 42 inch Vizio that runs at 120HZ for our bedroom from Sams. Whatever it's Coreys pet project and his parents are giving us 500 toward it for Christmas. I still think Corey is all excited about this year seeing as he paid nothing for my gift, the 140 multi-tool. It was on sale and he had more then enough points on his Cabela's card to buy the difference. I am debating on a strreingwheel cover for him, Nebraska since his wheel isn't leather wrapped from the factory. I have most gifts wrapped, pictures from winkflash back and cute and need to send out some completed gift boxes soon. Minus one who is getting a DVD from the flippin UK. May your 3 kiddos begin spaeking with not only Aussie accents but true british accents while they dance ballet!

I am happy to announce after sitting in the car listening to him ask what one and one equal and so on he is now doing addition flash cards and looking at numbers on the papeem when added with that number. I just keep saying quietly in my head, "Please keep up enthusiasm for accelerated learning through school" over and over again in my head. He's working on adding twos to the numbers 1-20 right now. Ones a bit better then two's, but 0 is 100%. I don't sit and drill my kid throughout the day either just suptle questions from time to time. What hand is left, what side of the brain are you using when you are writing with your left, or right hand. He finds this amusing. He is getting more into the guitar and saddly for my head, drums. Corey will hit a note on his guitar and Logan can most of the time find the same on his. We are thinking of getting him an upgraded 3/4 sized guitar for his birthday. He wants a Washburn like his Daddy. There is no way on Gods green Earth I am buying him a full sized N series guitar. So we went crusing cyber space and found this baby....

It is a 3/4 size so the same as his Horner red one.

The same night we look for those Logan gets a bug up his butt and climbs up to where I keep my rasor and hacks off a couple chunks of hair after his shower. He wasn't even supposed to be back in the bathroom! He was going for the Jason Hawes look. He just looks stupid, and I am making him wear a ball cap till I can get in with Tabby Tuesday to get his sides cut down. He knew I was past pissed though went in got himself dressed and put himself to bed while I was in the bathroom.

If the entire neigborhood were not Husker Fans...

They would likely think I was screaming in pain. What I lack in height, I make up for in spades in voice. I am loud, and when wound up, even louder. Anyones who's hear me as a cheerleader, I have gotten louder as I have aged!

The Huskers did damn near everything to NOT win this evening. Near the end with "Suh's" interception and the field goal from approx 57 yards. I was yelling so loud Sully went flying for the door, and Logan covered his ears...while yelling himself.
Thoughts of the Gator bowl for the Huskers...Go Big Red. Now back to the regularly scheduled Harry Potter while Corey works evenings movie. Goblet of Fire this evening, and yea Logan will be up past his bedtime now but oh well!

Twilight review and why I would read it

Firstly I will have to say I was not into the books till after the last one came out. A girlfriend of mine pleaded with me to get at least the first one and read it. Sure, I'll read anything once. I bought it the night my Dad Jerry was rushed to the emergency room and we'll say it was touch and go there. I not being exceptionally close to a member of my immediate family was shocked at the out pouring of emotion I was feeling. This is the guy in another life, I watched drunk and stoned piss in my sisters crib while she was in it. Rehab, remarried and really wanting nothing to do with his adopted child all the while letting Keyara go hog wild with drugs and alcohol and no guidance. There was this one time I remember though a real fatherly from a distance moment...I was turning 6 in Kindergarten, the divorce was in full swing by then and it was getting nasty. He sent me a bouquet of blue carnations. And a card with something like, I know you like the color blue (it was purple then, but the thought that counts right). I digress, that really left an impression somewhere in me, I never brought it up in my years of therapy either, looking back that is odd to me. Back to Jerry in ICU with his issues...

I was trying to read the book after I got the news and it just wasn't jiving. Took a bath, still nothing. Bella sees Edward and instant attraction. I think of Corey and I the night we met. BOOM, the story takes on whole new meaning. The love that shouldn't be, but is some how hashing itself out against impossible odds. Yep, those who were there for that saga in my life know all too well some of the catches there! I was super in to the book, but emotionally exhusted and tried to go to sleep. Every time I would just about be there those damn blue carnations would pop into my head causing me to tear up. I am truly a therapists wet dream! I laid next to Corey crying quietly as to not wake him. Finally I gave up and took the book as a refuge from what I could face in the morning if Jerry lost his life. Somewhere I thought if I didn't sleep, I wouldn't feel the pain. I read the entire book in between the jags of tears that night.

I read the entire series in the 4 days that followed, I had promised to either get the series done before classes began or wait till breaks to do them. Had two days to spare or so.

I was kind of shocked at the choice with the cast at first. The kid who played Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter 4 was lead, and British. I thought what the hell, I love HOUSE, and he's a Brit. I only caught one instance of accent slip in the whole movie. But them most miss my accent till I let it slip too! Kudos to him for pulling off a wonderful Edward, and hold on tight because you have been propelled into the grater stratosphere of teeine bop idols. Good Luck with that!
Bella was played convincingly to, I think the editing made her look more aloof then she really is. I hope both hold the course for the remaining movies. I also have read about the snide remarks about the other casting. Most hit dead on what I had pictured, but then again I was privy to who was on the roster by the time I read the last book, as it was post Comic-Con. Jacob was a bit more built in the movie then I thought for the first book. I look forward to the sequels and hope they don't edit out vital parts such as Bella and the blood issue.

I am trying to be vague and still get my points across as I know a couple friends have not read the book or have and not seen the movie yet.

I had Corey in tow for the movie, Marla watched Logan and they watched the first Harry Potter. Corey was happy with Twilight. That is a lot coming from him. Then again nothing could be as bad as Igor. All and all I loved the movie, was somewhat happy with it's editing. It really is about as close to a chick flick as I can stand. All the girls getting all giddy when Edward opens his shirt was just too much! Can't wait for the DVD so I can watch it in perace at home...with better popcorn!

Wish it continued success with the same actors. Cult status achieved before the movie came out, WTG! I would love to get close enought to the cast and see if there IRL presence is as powerful as the stage presence. But there I go having to read everything about someone down to the aura.

Hoping to see the Journet to the Center of the Earth remake this weekend with Logan while Corey is working. I have wanted to see this movie on the big screen too, my last chance. We are sooo there!

Corey's birthday gift arrived today!

We FINALLY went with a Washburn Nuno N61 guitar we found on Ebay. The auction said it had a paint flaw. From the pictures we saw none and took a chance with it only being 350 bucks. The only thing I could see was the colorseemed darker cream then what it should have been. Sure enough when it arrived minutes ago, they painted it the N5-6 colors! Oh well!!!!!!!! I will have pictures to follow. It is upstairs warming up after being shippied from Wisconsin Friday. This is an upgrade from the N2, and cheaper just because the color! It is sweet. He is super excited, now Logan wants the CARS guitar for Christmas, aint happening, maybe his birthday. Ok likely.... :) Pictures later!

Dandy life

I was all pissed off yesterday because it didn't dawn on Corey till 45 minutes before Twilight opened that I could go alone to go see it. I understand the whole trying to protect me thing, but really I am sooo not going to pick up another stalker in a dark movie theater in 2 hours! Really! So I was a bit shorter then usual last night, but Logan to bed all was happier and I watched SurvivorMan. I love that show! I had my bath and chilled out, I had 1/2 a bottle of welches sparkling grape juice and some popcorn to watched the show.

This morning was to be a new day. I got up, put Logan's smart cycle on our big screen and made him ride for 1/2 hour on it while I worked out on my Gazzelle for an hour. Our plan was to go from home to get him a little Webkinz, then lunch. Right now in the 15 minutes it is taking me to write this blog, I have had to put Logan in time out 4 times. Hope it gets better. I am just kind of soso attitude today, held over from yesterday and my feeling of being trapped. There is no me time, even my baths are interrupted by Logan and or Corey nightly. I can't even go to a movie for 2 hours to get away. I cannot quit my job because the kids found out and were upset, so I folded there too. I have 2 papers for one class and one final for another and I cannot even find the time to do those right now. It's like Corey has totally spaced on the fact that I still have school work (that have deadlines)to do on top of house work, family work and real work. Like this last month he has given no consessions for me to go and get my school work done, and having to work every morning makes the up till 3 am kind of hard. Trapped in this dandy life.

Today

From Logan's page....

"It begins as most days, busy. I like to start my days watching Playhouse Disney, eating cheerios. We were off to Betty's while Mom worked and it was a lot of fun. Right after Mom was done we hurried off to go get pictures done for a MOPS fundraiser. Those women are mostly catty but Mom can understand their national cause and participates at times. This was for sepia photos. I was unsure about the overalls I was made to wear. I have never been a fan of them. I feel constricted and that is so not how I roll. The photographer got a kick out of me, I hammed it up for him. Mom is looking forward to seeing the pictures on December 9th.

I am driving Mom insane and have to go get the nasal flu shot this afternoon. Till later. "

I also bought pictures of Logan's blog photo today from Winkflash for 6 cents a piece. They are running a sale on them from 8 cents. I see shipping is no longer 99 cents though. Had to figure something was going to give. I like their pics though. Logan is driving me insane, and we are attempting for him to go napless today to get him to bed earlier. I know it doesn't work butt what the hell.

I have to brush Sully this evening and want some time to take a bath and relax. I am making Logan practice writing his letters right now. I just need some me time. He is one of those kids that are 24-7 in your face. His idea of boundaries is there is none. Take for instance last night at 2 am when he started yelling to me, I dashed in only to have him say he wanted to give me a hug. Sweet, but I really need him to sleep so I can.

We will play catch till Corey gets home. I will reward his penmanship attempts with a fruit snack. There is the downtown lighting this evening, not sure about going to that or not. I am not feeling all being around kids again after 2 solid days of swim lessons and Logan in full effect.

New blogs titled and live

Logan's Blog- Will be mile stones and such. Don't be shocked if there are copies from my blog there!

Sully's Blog-mostly photos when I get around to it...

You will see later this week or weekend

2 new blogs from your favorite crazy woman. One will be Logan's blog, likely replacing his babiesonline page. This is just easier get pics uploaded here. The other will be hosted by Sully all about his furry self and the awesomeness that is Havanese. There will be some of his other doggie friends too.

I love this dog

If he had less white, I would be BEGGING for him. He is the Chocolate version of my Sully. That means he has brown instead of black on his nose, lips eyelids. Of and chocolates are a mutations, a lot more common than Sully's Hava-Brown coloring. The eyes are the cooliest as they are greenish/yellow as a few chocolates have.

Just a warning there will be millions of posts like this. I love Havanese pictures.

Kindergarden here we come!

We went to Logan's parent teachers conference this evening it was great. He is social with both the boys and girls, knows his numbers can restart after a pause where he left off, knows left from right sides, letter's writes somewhat and reads decently! Pardon the happy Mommy blog! She says he needs to work on his sitting still, good luck with that...I am excited because barring a catastrophe Sarah see's no reason that he couldn't go next year. He needs to avoid the light saber and gun play...damn you Gabe!! Love the kid but that's where gets it from.

Sit still, raise hand, and not crack jokes or say things purely for shock value or for a laugh. How he stated to talk like that, I have no idea...Since he has such good report he got a Hot Wheel car this evening. And having a child like Logan who is also a true ambidextrous drives teacher gaga!

All and all, a good night.

And on the dog note

I don't know how in the heck I have done it but I have gotten Corey from no way no how another dog to, maybe in the next couple years. I told him I either wanted a little all black guy named Nuno, or a all chocolate with green/yellow eyes either gender, or just my choice of another of Sully's 1/2 siblings, Corey REALLY likes Faith Karen's newest one. She is cute and has the weird blaze that is indicitive of many a Bailey pup, but a bit too much white for me, but she will silver out. Any would need to be reared by Karen first, likely another ring winner too, so they will be older. Corey asked if I was worried about the silver gene that Bailey carries, I said "Hell no! that's what makes it so fun, you never know what color and when they will turn. Look at Sully!" My goal is to someday be a Havanese foster Mommy, or have a line from Bailey to be bred. Like that will happen! BTW, this all started because they had a standard silver poodle in the paper. Our groomer has a standard, and I have fallen in love with him. But I think a Hav would be better for me, and I think Karen's got some of the best, plus we know all the other good breeders around the country. It will be a couple more years of plotting, but if I get a full time job, Sully will HAVE to have something here with him.

Havanese from Blak and Decker commercial

Now I am the first to say that corded Havnanese are dreadful looking. THey are nicknamed "silks" due to the silky flowing hair...but I stole this from our havanese forum. The dog is, Rags is out of Ch. Namaskar's Grace of Fuzzy Farm and Ch. Lynyear's Get Offa My Cloud. Yes we can find out pretty much most well bred Havanese down to their pedigree. THere are some whip smart people on that board. And they are awesome to chit chat with too...

We are such AWESOME doggie parents

I let Sully out and went to get Logan ready for his nap today. I came down and Sully was outside enjoying the awesome 60degree weather. I look down stairs and told Corey Sully was outside doing something. For those who didn't know we have about 1/3 acre fenced in the back for Sully and Logan to reign. Anyways, I came down about 2 hours later, an hour to get Logan to sleep and an hour to nap. Here's how it went:

Me: Where's Sully?
Corey: With you, I guess...
Me: Did you put him on the bed?
Corey: Thought you brought him up with you.
Me: (dumbass) Nope, I made an issue to tell you he was outside.
Corey: Oh yea, good thing he likes it outside and it's nice.
Me: Yea, good thing...(dumbass)

Sully was fine, just a little thirsty, came in and promptly wanted to go back out and chase whatever. Gotta keep that guarder snake and 13 stripe ground squirrel population scared shitless. I really think he is out there planning on how to give Corey a complex with them, but that's just me.
This is why I don't leave Logan or Sully alone for long periods of time with Corey. Great meteorologist, not at work he's mentally either focused on football or work. I'm not going to point fingers., but...REALLY?!?!

There is accident prone, then me...

If anyone is keeping score in the last month and a half I have utterly done everything I can to get myself in a full body cast. The ankel, the knee, the finger, now the back!

We were measuring how the 48inch will look in our room when we upgrade our set for Christmas. It's gonna be sweet BTW, Logan will get our 36inch. AS we were lifting to bring it back down stairs, Logan was in Corey's way and he was backwards. I turned a bit to yell to him to move and pop pop pop, I knew I was in trouble. I sucked it up and made it down both flights of stairs and it will sit till our new TV is chosen and delivered.

It hurts, it sucks and I did it to myself. Corey is guilt ridden about it, I should ride it a bit but that's not my style. You only make them suffer when it is their fault for real! Ha.. Anyways I still sucked it up to go out to GI and watch most of the Husker game with Marla and her man, Gary. It was sweet of them to invite us to the VW and watch it. It was wonderful to see her, she's just great. And the Huskers rolled K-State, GO BIG RED!!!!

We got home I was restless and hurting so instead of lying down like a good little girl, I grabbed my rubber gloves, the bathroom cleaner and some abrasive spongy things and hand scrubbed the bathtub and the toilet till my hands shook.

One of the resons my back is so touchy is the tearing of most of the major muscles during delivery of Logan. So they are prone to spazing out from time to time. Luckily after the breast reduction this summer the doc gave me some generic perocet, or however you spell it. I Only had used a few of them then and am greatful for them now. I am taking 1/2 doses and am about due now.

Chalk this up to yet another smooth move by Krimmyk. I am going to be so hurt by the time moring comes around. At least my tub and toilet are shiney! :)

Honestly, do I stand a chance at all?

As most of you dear reader know, I am in inept mother who surprisingly hasn't killed her offspring by not insisting he wear socks in the warm weather...and GASP go barefoot when he feels the urge. Really according to my mother in law all my short falling are with him. Corey for some stupid reason feels it necessary to call them and tell them everything that happens to Logan. He had to get his tonsils out because I didn't have him in socks this spring when it was like almost 80 degrees, not because he was born with ginormous ones to start with...Now the Whooping cough you guessed it, has everything to do with the fact he doesn't wear socks to bed! Come the hell on! Anytime he ever coughs she frets that it is the croup, then goes into the long over told story about Corey and his croup and her attachment to his bedside when he was an infant. NEWSFLASH, I was hospitalized for weeks, with it as a baby too, but that is besides the point. Croup effects infants and toddlers and you are about out of the risk by the time you are three or when your vocab, is higher showing an increase in the size of the voice box. Logan was never at risk, never got the croup, alas I am still a shitty mother. All three times can b linked to the YMCA, umm he spends a lot of time there, and there are kids everywhere. Ypou want me to put my social butterfly in a bubble for you? Note to Monster-in-law lay the hell off, I have about had it with you. You are NOT and will never be his mother, you f*d up your kids, back off mine. I will go toe to toe with you about him if you keep taking the cheap swipes, I will win, you will lose.

Here are some of the pictures I used for my art paper on Dada..

Look it's Spidey in The School of Athens, Raphael is rolling over in his grave....

Pablo would understand...Let's see if my art teacher will.

I forgot this one...my Picasso tree

Showing my maturity once again.

I don't have time for it, I'm sorry

There is a new Fire Fly board, I have gotten the invitations, really I just don't have the time. Or honestly the want to go there. I have a select group of friends from there, here and on myspace. I don't need the drama that the board generated. I will look from time to time, but will rely on others for the pertinent gossip from there. With finals approaching, I barely have time to pop in here and myspace, the work is not relenting. I have a 6 question essay and there needs to be coordinating pictures due next, then a paper on 6 women artist of the 20th centry ,then there is the chapter 20 test and the final. I hear that is from hell. Then I have a paper on Judism, and the final for that all due soon too...sigh. Plus Logan isn't exactly healthy right now. So if you understand thank you, if not, sorry!

Can I NOT get a Whoop Whoop?

Well the cough stopped as the temps went up. Of course the last several days the weather has sucked..BIG TIME! So, of course, the cough is back bad as ever. He is coughing in his sleep. Corey decided cranked up the temp in the house to 70, so I of course cranked it to 72. Mind you we have all high efficiency utilities, and usually keep the house at 67, to keep Logo and Corey from sweating. Since I turned it up Logo has stopped coughing. I will try to get him in to the doctors office as soon as they open today. He is not going in to school and I am not going in to work. He didn't sleep without coughing till I put the space heater in his room till after midnight last night. I was up in his room, putting together me Religion's final, while he was coughing. I have an egging feeling that he is a Whooping Cough carrier, I think he doesn't have the full out Whooping cough, I don't ever get sick. If he does have, or is a carrier of Whooping cough I am going to go postal! Whooping cough was a thing of the past till the influx of non immunized people came to our country. I see, and respect the idea of not immunizing their kids, I am against Logan having to get the flu shot. BUT with the influx of those who come here illegally, the need to keep them safe from the basic viruses is vital IMO. I hear that the recent outbreak of Whooping cough came from Pooh Corner childcare. I know Minnesota had outbreaks in the last couple years. One set of those PC kids were in Minnesota before they got sick. Both kids got sick, their cousin, then aunt, who's class has has 3 sick with the Whoop. Logan would be at least the 4th kids out of 15. Hmmmm...

THere are few things that will slow him down, BUT

1. Collective Soul -Home DVD (we have it on DVR)
2. Les Stroud's Survivorman
3. Imagination Movers (replacing The Wiggles)
4. The Mars Rover
5. Sarah Palin

Last night was wonderful, after doing some handwriting and reading me two stories, we let him watch the season premier of season 3 of survivor man. It was all good till for some reason he decided to throw his (now in the garbage) plastic bowling ball right into the 48inch LCD screen. OMG, I thought Corey was going to faint! No damage, but again he tossed it underhanded, didn't drill it as he usually does. This may be a small set back to the 52 inch screen for Christmas...He was just so excited Les was found he said. Hmmm....

As I am typing this we are watching a show off of Smithsonian HD on the Mars Rovers. He's been obsessed with the rovers since he was a baby, weird really.

Corey is scoping out a new guitar for his Birthday, His Mom is giving him 150 to do with as he wants, I told him to put it towards an N2, by Nuno. So he is looking hardcore, but worried about China made guitar.

It's cold out, but would be better if the wind wasn't going at 75MPH at times. It sucks, being from Wisconsin, I know cold and can handle it. After 6 years in Nebraska, the wind still gets me. Sully on the other hand could stay out all day long, weirdo! He loves it, and could live with out the sweaters. I on the other hand being his main groomer cannot! It keeps his belly hair dry, in the wet grass. The wind 2 days ago gave us an unpleasant superise, he pooed with his butt facing the wind. His trouser hair is to the ground, and as he pooed...I'll just say it got wind wrapped. And took me 35 minutes to clean. Yuck! I was debating shaving him down that very second. I didn't, I am a good fur-mommy.

We didn't get pictures at Olan Mills either, and I am boycotting them. They are a bunch of posers and I refuse to bring my child to the studio again. The lady I talked to was rude and condescending. Screw her, I went there to get Alisha taking her pic. She is no longer there, and the new lady is an ass-hat. 'Nough about that. Don't go there. I will get some pics at home, or just send out Logan's preschool pic in cards.

Till later.

A picture is worth a thousand you can't say on TV words...

I love Bo Pelini. He's willing to swear or rip some one heads off in the heat of the moment. Bo Pelini for president 2012 baby! I am Krimsin and I approved this ad.

It's 1AM do you know where your kid is?!

Well, mine is wide awake, congested and wired. I want to load my art paper and go to bed! He is in with me, as Corey is on an overnight. So I will be dodging his arms and legs all night, and listening to him "blow his nose"(more like snot rocket then wipe)...OH JOY!!!! Who wants to place bets on Logan not being in school tomorrow?

My hope is for some kind of unity

As most of you know I have great disappointment that my candidate didn't win. I think it will be a great mistake to toute him as the first black president, umm he's 1/2 white you racist. Here in lies my worries for my country, is there going to be unity, or is it going to become about race. We already know that America wasn't ready for a woman, I still have doubts on the legitimacy of some votes. For those who cast their idea of an educated vote, I commend you. But for those who did it on fad or because they always voted that way.

I am disturbed by the fairness doctrine, the taxing that is about to hit our country, and not so secret ballots in union.

I love my country and and pray, while I still can for its continued success. I hope our soil stays safe, and if not, we don't want to say I told you so.

God Bless the USA for all she is and all she can be.

Sull's new do, kindof...

He has the beautiful eyes of his Daddy, Bailey's California Star. Corey is giddy being able to see his eyes. Don't let it fool you his hair is so thick, esp in the neck. He's just furry cuteness! He just looks depressed, but right after was playing grab-ass with Logan!

I did it, so should you!!!

I brought Logan with me to my station, he is so jazzed about it all. I did it, and was the 45th person from my little town to vote and it was only 8:30 polls opened at 8!

Not many 4 year old kids can name off all Reds and Blues vetting today, by party affiliation or by face. Mine can, hehehe! So, let me have a second to brag, since I found out my kids like the only one on the freaking planet that will not and has not been in a stroller since he was one!

Sully is getting a grooming...

Yes, Lisa I will be posting pics later of them. Here is the link to the way I HOPE he looks, it is called Sierra Bangs. I am praying (while clinging to my guns and religion today, sorry couldn't resist) that they turn out, he has his birthday and Christmas pictures tomorrow! I just want to see his eyes and not have to braid and top knot him. I really think LaDawn can do it, she is great with him, and will take her time I am sure. Before and afters will be here soon too!

Screw the election there's a HOUSE marathon

Something to break up the monotony of the morning. Too bad I have to bring the dog to the groomer, bring Logan to a Museum play date and get his haircut all before noon! Maybe I will scoot in an epi during lunchtime!

We will be indulging in the comfort food from Nick's then go out and vote. Many asked why I didn't just do absentee and vote early. It is simple really. I want to instill into my child the importance of and the civic duty of a citizen to vote. He will go into the voting area with me, just like my mother did to me. It still amazes me that she is the one who taught me how vital it was to voice your vote, learn politics, then does the opposite herself.

I will be watching Fox News watching for the new hope...VP Sarah Palin!

Lisa take a look

please also pass this around to friends and family in the area. He has been missing for a while now, BUT there could still be hope...Coppers Thread. Now Havanese look like a lot of other breeds, and could be called a mix or something.

Smithsonian Channel HD

Another very popular channel for us is the Smithsonian Channel. WE got it added along with 7 other channels for like 10 bucks a month. So, since we never watch the other channels its 10 bucks for this one channel. It is worth it, really! Logan loves Critter Quest, think Jeff Corwin's less good and less annoying little brother meets Steve Irwin! We DvR-ed the one from earlier in the week, it was on Autumn and the animals and what they do. Raptor (owls, hawks, ect), Frogs and turtle hibernation, Deer and antler growth, why and how leaves change color. Here is the link to the site itself. I love the shows they have too, the one on the Crystal Skulls was very interesting.

speaking of tv shows

Yes, some have noted I took off all the cast of Paranormal State off Myspace. It is just getting pathetic. I would advise Chip Coffee to jump ship and distance himself ASAP, if he wants to save any credibility he may still have after this show. It's about to get really rough for them, it's sad really they were once seen as compassionate, not just as a joke as I have found. I came to this conculsion after talking with Corey, only to find out I am SOOOO not the only one who feels this way. I€ have no venom unlike some others for the regular cast, just don't think it is doing the paranormal community ANY favors at all! I would suggest you all see the last aired epi, "I am Six." and think long and hard about it. If you feel inclined then write a&E.
*Also CJ Sellers is not included in my boycott. Love her to death and believe in her and her abilities!* A&E needs to give her her own show...

New SurvivorMan

So after the riots that will come with the election, during the recount, we will have something to watch in our home.....The new season of Survivor Man Season 3, starring Les Stroud will be on the Discovery Channel (and now in High Def...Sweetness!) November 7th at 8 we will be not answering the phones, but hanging and watching Les out in some remote area. Next to Ghost Hunters, it's about the only non-musical based show that will stop Logan for the entire show. It isn't a reality show in my opinion, it's a survivalist show, and educational! So, happy dance! Here is the link to his Myspace site. He's entertaining and educational, all good points for our home!
