Because I said so, that's why...

We got Logan all signed up for Kindergarten yesterday. Wow, it is wrong the FF kiddos are old enough to go to school. Corey kept texting me to find out where to go. Umm Juniata is tiny, you CANT get lost in the place. I couldn't get the ringer off on the loaner phone either. To top it off Meagan, Michelle were texting me too about what we were going to do with lessons. Other parents were looking at me funny. Screw'em not like Logan will be in class with their kids all the way through 12th grade...of wait, this is his class till graduation! Oh well. Two girl in his preschool class will be in his class. Could have been worse. They are strict, advising sleep schedules, proper handwriting, ect. Logan's new bedtime will be 7-730 as advised, no naps unless he falls asleep. We started last night, well I did. Corey was on talks again. Convective season is about to begin ya know! He is really excited about the idea of real school. He is so board in preschool. We began old world style handwriting tonight. It is very close to cursive. By this time next year 60% of the kids will be reading, 5% come in reading. One of the PS moms glared at me cause my kid does her does not, I will NOT feel guilty about that. At least her kid listens to me!

Today was awesome day outside. 72, light breeze, and didn't really smell like cow shit. Logan, Sully, and I took a just over 1.5 mile walk one mile. 1 mile was on the road, the rest was the walking path cut out of the field in the back of our homes. Sully picked up everything he could in his coat. And you think he would sit still as I tried to get out the stickers and such? Bad doggie! Took about 10 minutes with a fine toothed comb. My idea of a good time really.

I am getting some strawberries for a desert for Logan this evening. Good brain food. I am happy nighttime is coming soon. He's driving me insane, grouchy with the change in his schedule. "why do I have to go to bed and it is still light out Mom? It's so Lame!" Because I said so, that's why. At least Corey will be home tomorrow to see how charming he is being in the evenings right now. I thought the walk would get some energy out of him, silly me!

Stop asking about my birthday

Honestly call me if you want the 411, it blew. Enough said. Losing my cell was horrid. Yes, being a techie lover has its draw backs. I have bought another AX8600 to hold me off till I can decide between a Palm or Blackberry.

One surprising find was where my Twilight book was last Wednesday. Corey broke down and started to read it. He swears I am a vamp. I can't help the body temp thing, liking rare steak and eyes the change color. I got the books last Aug after a HUGE influx of emails and myspacers telling me I had to read the books. I am not into the fad books, and I think had I not read the first one the night Jerry (adopted dad) was fighting for his life, I wouldn't have yaken as much to it. And the comparision between me and Bella's awesome talents to hurt ourself. Oh that was another thing Corey pointed out! I better get my other books back from Meagan as I see him getting to the end. I am going to get her the DVD for her Birthday at the end of the month. I wonder about getting it myself, but since "Cedric Diggory" & "Shark Boy" Logan will really want to see it. I think New Moon will be worse since "Caspian" is in it. I will cross that bridge as they present themselves.

I sign Logan up for Kindergarden in the morning. I am in a bit of disbelief with the situation. My baby going to school, I never thought it would happen! I am so proud, teacher won't know what hit her.

Corey had 2 talks today in Kansas. He left at 10AM and as 11PM comes he is still not home. I miss him. *Sigh*

Will work on muy Synthisis essay sometime this week...maybe. I would rather be working on my book, instead of research. Uggg...

More incoherant rambling later...

At least it is 60 outside today!

Happy Birthday to me, happy birthday to me, happy birthday dear Krimsin, you have no cell phone!

Yep for my birthday I came to the realization that my Rhythm bit the dust. I was so upset! I lost phone #'s, dates ect. That was like my PDA. Shit shit shit shit shit shit shit!

I went to the Alltel store and the wicked witch I had told me to essentially screw off, so I loudly told her to have a nice Flippin' day and watch out for the cross winds. She looked at me funny and I maturely retorted, "I hear those cross winds are a bitch when on a broom!."
I went to Walmart and asked for help there, I got the girl to call the Sr. Rep at the store, and get me some help. I went back got another Sr. Sales rep, she was awesome. She said she would give me a crappy loaner and try to sneak past the phone through the what-ever dept. I told her it was much more then the other girl was willing to do. She smiled and said, she had heard. Ha!

Either way it will give Corey 2 weeks to talk himself into getting me a new phone. I love my Rhythm and the FM transmitter on it. But if I HAVE to get a BlackBerry...it better have an MP3 on it! I hope she can sneak it through the WD and I can get another Rhythm, maybe in white, but either way, I miss my phone. So instead of complaining about my car, for the next couple weeks, it will be my phone I am mourning!

Not really the beginning to my birthday I had planned. UGGGGG!!! Topping the fact I had a rough sleeping night starting with right at Midnight Logan coming in complaining of leg pains. I gave him some kids Motrin, and put some Cherry scented Kid's Mentholatum on his knee to assist the inflimation. He was out, but I was bothered, so sleeping was touchy with weird dreams the remainder of the time.

Lety me also take a second to thank the super awesome friends who took the time to drop me a line either via the phone or internet to wish me a Happy Birthday. You are all lights in my life! Thank you.

You SOOO want Logan dating YOUR daughters! ;P

Logan and Corey were talking in the bathroom while Logan was taking his bath this evening.

Corey: What should we get Mom for her birthday, she is no help.
Logan: Something poky, sparkly and pretty.
Corey: Like what?
Logan: Starts with "F," you are supposed to get them for girls you love...
Corey: Well? Sparkly, you mean like earrings or a ring?
Logan: Flowers, Dad honestly!
(By this time I was sitting outside the bathroom door on the floor laughing)
Corey: Should we go to the flower shop and order some?
Logan: Naw, Walmart has some pretty nice flowers. And Roses are poky, so she will like them (What?), let's get yellow, so she will know they were MY idea, not yours.
(At least my son has the flower idea down, Corey has gotten me flowers once in 12 years, and it was when he was so busted about 2 years ago...)

Kid never ceases to amuse the hell out of me!

How did I pull these off?

I have been sweating the grades from the research class. Last sememster this grade would not have flown at all, but since I don't need the class for the most part...For this class I will take a B. Had I known I wouldn't NEED the class I would have taken the Ethics class, it would have been more fun, but here are the current grades as they sit right now. I don't have all and there is still the Cit #4, Critique #1, Working Bibliography, and Paraphrasing still out for grading. Cit #1,2, and 3 were due weeks ago. I tore in to the first Critique pretty hard, something tells me he may not be pleased. I am working on Critique #2 currently. Monday I have a proposal due, a synthesis too and no non-Logan/Corey time to do it. But I am going to try to bang it out. I bullshitted through the citations really not remembering or having the proper formats down till #4, I am awaiting that one on baited breath. Is this class over yet?!?!

Havanese Research Project

"Why can a Havanese dog so difficult to own?" I will touch on the Havana Silk controversy within the paper as it is a part of the Havanese story, grooming needs, the breeds potential separation anxiety, but also on the major health concerns one should know about before they think about the purchase of one these dogs. I know there are several health related issues that have come up with in the breed. There needs to be education to avoid pet shop and puppy mill dogs also, as the popularity soars within the breed. The breed is not perfect, and not for everyone. I hope that is what this paper will assist in making educated not emotional decisions about the Havanese breed.
