Hitting the ground running today

Get up, get Logan to the Museum for class, go to gym, get my steamer, got to guitar store and see that our N61 us still NOT done, got to Bath and body for hand sanitizers, go get Logan, get bread at bakery (ended up as Jimmy Johns Day old instead.), got cook a pasta lunch, take shower, clean up mess from lunch (you know it had to be a tornado like disaster, I couldn't do it any other way!), work on sight words and writing with Logan, get Corey ready for work (make sure he remember his lunch, and not waring navy blue and black, ect.)Logan nap (me too? PLEASE?!?), get up, Marla, Gary and Brooklyn come over for a play date, got get pizzas, chill for a bit whole the kids disassemble the house, load Logan's room pics?, they leave, clean up, shower the boywonder, settle him in for bed, read him a story, hour long groom of Sully, haul the tote full of books for Maegan down form the spare room. Books I have read over the last 5 or so months, get Maeg out of the house so I can take a shower, Corey comes home, toast the New Year with some sparkling red grape juice, quickly wake up little dude and wish him a Happy New Year, brush teeth and go to BED!!!

That's the plan or what has transpired so far. I have left out the million or so times Sully will want to go outside. I will not be watching the New Years shows this evening, unless it is the Fox News one. I think they are pointless and very dull. I will likely listen to music. OR there is SurvivorMan on the Science channel all night--Whoo Hoo!!! There is hope for TV.

There is nothing at all on the doccet for tomorrow, and I like it very much. The classes at the museum for Logan were great, he had a blast. He got to go to the planterium and that makes his flippin day. We may go see 'Tis the Season there this weekend, we will see. We will have to find the time around the boys hair cuts Saturday I think.

Next week at a glance....
Logan heads back to school on Monday and the happy dance has already started. I think we are collectivly getting on eachothers nerves. We have the preschool playdate on Tuesday at the Museum, a Kool-Aid themed thing. School Wednseday, nothing (I think) Thursday and school again Friday.

I will have to make reminder calls to those kids from work to actually show for next weekend sometime mid-next week, but that is it for me. I begin class again on the 12th, man I hope my book arrives before calss starts.

If you made it this far you are a super hero!

Have a Safe and Happy New Year! Remember please Don't Drink and Drive at all. See you in 2009!

~Rock on!

Got the info for my next class

My research class had two books listed. I am thinking great, over 100 for the class books again for this one class. Nope, 30 bucks combined!!! I didn't even shop around, just bought them from Amazon before the others in the class could. I wish I could be taking the Ethics course this semester, but it just isn't going to work with work, classes, housework and being Mommy. Sigh..I really enjoyed the Religions class Steve taught. Maybe after I get out of BU I will take the class for fun.

My mother got her photo of Logan today and was thrilled with it. Good. I wonder if Jerry and Mary got their gifts yet?

Busy day again today, I have to go see if we are picking up Logan's plasma tonight...I will be home tomorrow other than making the arm roast my boss gave us for Christmas (there is a story to it of course) I will try to upload the pics from gifts he has already opened! The rest will be opended post dinner tomorrow!

Stay warm all!

I will be posting the Christmas pics on Logan's blog

Little by little I will be getting them up over the next couple days and get them posted here. He has opened a couple books from Great-auntie and uncles yesterday and a chicken Webkinz (named Malfoy!!) from his God Mother. We may let him open Lisa's tonight, or just hold off till tomorrow when we let him open all but Santa's gifts. After all Santa doesn't come till he is asleep and brings the gifts to celebrate the birth of the baby Jesus!

I am off to the gym to work out and then pick up my bosses kiddos for a bit to give her a break and entertain Logan some at the Children's Museum, a win win for both Mommies. I'll bring a book, and likely call Ang to bug her or something while they all play!

So I caved...a heart-felt thank you

I said I was not going to let Logan open any gifts before Christmas eve. The room under the tree is nil so when Kristi's gift arrived the other day, I thought well she said she wasn't wrapping them...she did! I loved the Stars book, it's beautiful! The cars have been accepted into the Hot Wheels gang, and I don't think the cup of book will make it to a road trip!

Then Alisha's arrived, Corey had to have smelled the goodies in there and opened the box! He was eating away blissfully, stops as I am trying to get out what we would soon find to be a beautiful pop up book. "Are these safe to eat? There's not like poison or horse laxative in them is there?" I assured him there was no poison but couldn't rule out a night on the pot for him. <---I couldn't resist saying it just to get a rise out of him! Logan got to open his gifts later last night, we looked through the book for about an hour, again the illustrations were beautiful. And I think this was his first pop-up book. He thought it was so cool and calls it his "field guide" like from The Chronicles of Spiderwick! He again looked through it tonight before bed so he could remember the difference between a tree faerie and a marsh one! The Gingerbread guys will be a fixture for years to come, and I will be hard pressed to have him part with the snow globe that is sitting on his night stand (replacing a Wall-e toy).

Those whom we exchange with for Christmas and birthday's, I know you know we expect nothing in return but your friendship. Your generosity, and care in choosing everything (including putting up with my ramblings) cannot be expressed in words how much you all mean to our family. Me especially. You girls are my sanity when I feel I am losing it, my hope when I feel its lost, my strength when I feel weak, and most of all an outside reminder that God has blessed me with some uniquely wonderful people through their children. In no order, Lisa, Angelique, Kristi, and Alisha we all were due the same month our kids brought us together. Though I met Kristi at the pool, but with kiddos in tow, we hit it off! I am getting to know Tina and you are a hoot. To those who are not named you are no less important, but these girls are my support system and sounding boards. I know you others will understand...

Thank you all for being my friend and sharing your lives with my family! God Bless you all!!!!!

Christmas Sweater

If there was ever a must read book of the season, hell even this year it is this book. Santa was going to get it for me but I caved and bought it last night at 9PMish I polished it off earlier this evening. I paced myself, I didn't want it to end. Glen has some beautiful points in it without pushing religion down your throat. But from my crazy Catholic friends to those on the fringe, you will LOVE it too! I had tears rolling down my face reading it in bed between SurvivorMan in Utah epi! I cannot say how the young boys struggle with atonement touched me.

I now have a in-person definition for Alisha's...

F*cktard. I have read her blogs and giggled at the lovely colorful words she uses. Honestly and she knows she is one of the only people I know that can put together swearwords better then myself. Today I have personally found the in person definition for 2 women at the same place to the word listed above.

Background: We went to go get the truck re-tagged for the year, seemingly no prob right?!? We get to the court house only to find the chick that about hit me in the parking lot at Valentino's working there (then she got parked in and interrupted us while eating to move OUR car so she could get out!!!)F*ucktard for sure. Next the said F*ucktard, was the one who "assisted" us. We had the check, insurance, last years reg, even the post card to expidited the service. She looks at the check (online bank) and says, "What type of an account it thes?" REALLY?
I reply, "Checking."

F*ucktard, "I will have to check with accounting, I have never seen a check like this before." Newsflash, looks just like any other check, except the bank name.

F*ucktard comes back and tells us that she cannot accept the check due to many excuses as I shhot each down. 1) Not a local bank-neither is US Bank, or Wells Fargo, I reply quickly getting pissed off.

F*ucktard: "The check number."
Me: "It's irrelevant as it is all done online."

F*ucktard: "There is no banking information listed on the check"
Me: I pull out my US bank check book, "None here either, so guess you won't take that one either."

F*ucktard: You could go get cash..."
Me: "You gonna refund the fees for pulling cash?" (Really with online bank there is no fees, but she is a F*ucktard and doesn't know this) I give her my die now look and walk out, Corey is LONG gone by this time as he knew I was getting lit.

We go get the cash and she's all cheery.
Corey: "So, when taxes come due I have to haul in 2500 in cash?"
F*ucktard: "Same issue!"

I have been in most areas of finance and know she is full of crap. I can even list off the Patriot act if she wants. Oh and did I mention the Head of that Dept is being kicked out of her office for tax fraud!
