Mostly Wordless Wednesday

It was a hell of a night here last night, I don't really want to get into it. Keep it light for now. A girlfriend sent me this in an email and it made me giggle. Some will get the humor in this, the rest of you will confirm your thoughts that I am truly insane. Either way, enjoy!

Only "A listers" need apply

So Kristi must really miss me because I not only graced her blog twice today, as well as her FB page, but I got my own tag! Mind you I know I kick ass, but to be tagged in her blog which is all about Catholic hula-ba-loo, good parenting, patriotism, and all that jazz is a big deal. An honor, even! Mind you the tag is "Antagonizing Krimsin." One of the posts were about NBC thinking I was to dumb to be a parent. Ihave seen the czar list, I am an intellectual giant to those SOB's, you can quote me on that! I even made her daily to do list! She must really think I rock! BTW, I stand firmly by my NBC=douchebag comment.

So I am going to call her out and thank her for her new hobby, reccognition of me! I hope you enjoy all the FB freaks I sent your way! I am sure those who don't read your blog will pop over from here out of shear curiosity. You scheme is working! My totally rad readers will comeover and be hooked my "the hoff's" smooth tunes on your player. Yea, I am so on to you KrazyGirl, and you closet hippy ways! :P I have great friends who entertain me greatly, wish you were still in Hastings, we could really shake shat up then!

Ticks Me Off Tuesday

Hells bells, it IS Tuesday! Feels like a hang over Monday truth be told. I was up last night on twitter doing computer programing homework. I did manage to find somethings that Totally Pissed me off.

1. Husband forgot our 7th anniversary. I think I handled it quite well. I shut my mouth till he was out the door to work, popped my head out and said, "BTW, happy anniversary." If he hadn't had his shades on I bet the look would have been priceless. His response, "If it makes you feel any better, I didn't even know the date today." Yea, because it wasn't scrolling across Fox News all morning, on the computer, OR your blackberry. Nice try home-skillet. He then tried making it up by involving a co-worker resetting the anatomical clock at work to the wrong date. Sadly he forgot to do it till I walked into the door! Boys! And yet, still adore my hubby!

2. My mother, really do I have to go much more into it than just saying I had to talk to her yesterday. It is always same shatty drama different day. I was told I HAD to call and wish my nephew a happy birthday today. I said I got him a gift already. Not good enough, blah, blah, bitch at me, bitch at me. Expect her on the list any week I talk to her. She totally goes postal when I refer to her as "Mommy Dearest," so of course I try to slip it in at least once an argument...

3. Twitter, I love it. For the most part. Well I did till 2 Fridays ago when they dropped 15,000 people from Collective Soul's follows. I was one of those followers lost in the mix. Boo Hiss! Corey however newer and never bothering them, was not dropped. DAMN IT!!! So I daily comment to them pathetically that I miss being in the "in-crowd" 1/2 the fun is they do on occasion tweet back to you. So, I have had other fanatics who are still being followed to get me bumped on the list. Not working but I deeply appreciate the effort ladies! I have a feeling they are just going backward in the re-adds and in that case, it will be a while seeing as I added them early in their twittering days. le sigh. So Twitter (not Collective Soul), this is for you!

- Now on to some sillier stuff for the next couple of #'s.

4. Being graceful. I am not sure how the hell I made it 29 years without being in traction. I do some of the stupidest shat. For instance. Tripping over nothing something that shouldn't have been on the ground as I went for the nightstand light. I tripped as I grabbed the lamp switch. Face over the shade and...wait for it...boom full on light bulb in the eyes!

5. Could be considered 4.5, but different slightly, when you are drinking and drink dribbles out the side of your mouth. WHF, who put the tippy cup in my hand. This happened while I was drinking my International Foods Mocha this morning. Thank God for long, thick hair or I would be on here bitching about a burn on my shoulder! Like I said I am graceful.

6. I am not a doctor again why? Oh that's right my husband is such a germ-a-phobic that he would freak out. But in saying that, I have to diagnose whatever his minute-by-minute health related freak outs. He is the healthiest person I know, who thinks he is constantly dying. AND he is now suspected of having the swine flu see next...

Thanks to Drew for the hilarious cartoon!)

7. Big Brother. So, here I go with out trying to delve too far in to the political realm with this but come the hell on the Feds are making lists of their employees that have had or are suspected of having the swine flu. Guess who's fecking name showed up on the list. Me. Yep, Corey's boss reported his being sick over Lo's Bday as AH1N1. Subsequently Logan and I getting sick made us be put on the list too. Corey had the worst of the symptoms with full out all symptoms. Logan had diarrhea, fever, aches and vomiting. I had exhaustion and yacked only once. Yea, still felt like shat for that day and a half. At no time did any member of the family look like this.
I understand the importance of CDC gathering info, but names and family members suspected, come on! Damn Communistic if you ask me.

Added for my own sanity two more little gems.

8. Bottles and bubble packs that you need scissors to open. Now, I can never find a pair to save my life. So I took drastic measures and tore in to it with the sexy beast I tote in my purse:

Take That! You stupid bubble wrapper, and no I didn't use the scissors, I used a saw!

Yes Lisa, I finally got around to posting my Xmas gift form Corey. I asked for an upgraded multi tool w/ a case. I got this bad boy from Cabela's...SCORE! I am the person you want to be lost with as I carry matches, differing size heads for the screw-driver, and 5 bucks t hopefully get us out of the ghetto if we were ever there. Just your average girl scout that wanted to be a boyscout. So I will make up for it as a "grown up." Somewhere I know Les Stroud is beau coup proud of me!

Let's all say it together, "Krimsin has issues." Well at least I am up front about them. When in doubt, go all out.

These are from one of my tweeps, I met through the Collective Soul twitter page.

Marsha117 Had a valid TTOT rants this morning I feel need to be addressed:

1. We should start a petition for ALL federal holidays to be on Fridays! <---hell yes, no Tuesday should feel like a Monday due to a day off. Fridays would be oh so much better.

2."We weren't supposed 2 have 2 do anything & we end up doing it all. Lunch was supposed 2 B here at 11-it came at 9! Total Cluster*$^#!" <--theses are educators. I am truly frightened. I would come saddle up (gotta wear the gear!)

and cattle prod (or taser!) the hell out of the morons...

So that is my short list for the week, and it truly is just that. I even did a good deed and bitched for someone else, I am a shoe in for sainthood for sure! Since I forgot today was Tuesday I think it's fairly decent. For other Awesome blogs with Totally Ticks Me Off Tuesday blogs hit up Midwest Mommy, she is the lady who started it all for me! And this darling pic is from her too!

Word cannot express

exactly how shatty I felt last night. Allergies alone are painful add on cramps from my quarterly peroid (I was advised do to cramping pains to only have it 4 times a year) and whatever the feck was going on with my muscles. It was one of those night you run a fever and your teeth are chattering from the pain type of nights.

It started out like all of my nerves were tingling, everywhere. Clothing was un-comfy but necessary, any time something rubbed against my skin it ached/burned. Than the fun part came about 2:30am, I woke with pain worse than 5 days in labor with no pain killers. All the muscles in my back and legs were constricted while my arms had virtually no strength. I took a muscle relaxer and after 20mins passed out fell asleep only to be awaken an hour later by it getting worse. By this point Corey was annoyed and told me to take a heavier pain killer. Umm, nope took something and didn't want to risk an interaction, you know like death! By morning I felt like I had been on a week long bender. My sinuses drained, ears still full and back with a dull ache. WTF happened last night. What ever it was I hope it never happens again. I usually don't let pain bring me to tears, but last night was likely one of the worst pains I ever felt. I have to like it to my muscles telling my bones to feck off and try to escape. I know in the morning first thing after dropping off Logan I am hitting the gym and stretching out on " the rack" or the stretching machine, and again when I am done for good measure.

On another medical subject, I am sure Kristi will be interested to know: The federal employees are to log whom and whom in their family has had the swine flu. We are on that list according to the Met in Charge at the office because of the sickness Corey had over Logan's birthday. Subsequently, Logan got sick too, and lastly I yacked once and was so exhausted I couldn't function for about a day and a 1/2. So my question is why are federal employees being logged. Not like we would go to get the swine flu vaccination but really, it's none of their business. I understand the whole CDC thing, but I would like to be checked for antibodies at least before being added to some Big Brother list. KWIM?

So I give good blog huh...

So this blog award comes from Mama Mel one of the SITS girlies. She also makes sock monkeys, so she has a great blog and who doesn't LOVE sock monkeys! Thank you so much Mama Mel for picking my kick arse humble little blog for the award. I always get weird-ed out when I get props for my rambles, but since my readership has greatly picked up its time to step up and Now time for me to pass on some love to 4 other blogs. I am picking some of the newer blogs I have come across, it was hard choosing.

Week-In-Review

Wow, it is Sunday again already. Seems like just yesterday I was in a scurry to get last weeks up. Here is the haps at Casa King.

1. Logan got all brown bears at school, 5! That means he didn't get in trouble at all this whole week at school. So he was all spoiled with stuff as a congrats. Yes, I will bribe my kid to get good behavior. And there may have been that little no TV at all in the morning thing too as punishment from last weeks basically telling the teacher to screw off. But I prefer to look at the positive, 5 stinking bears! WTG boy wonder!

2. Our anniversary was on the 4th. I would again like to thank you all for wishing us a happy one. Maybe next year he will remember too. Yep, he forgot! I do see the humor in it especially when he had the Mike change the anatomical clock so when I came in it would have the wrong date. Umm, not that stupid, but nice try! Mike was like, "Told you it wouldn't work Corey." Guy humor, I guess. He put it in his Blackberry for next year, along with my birthday and Mother's day.

3. I have been plugging away at learning mods for school. I have to make time to see my new councilor and plot out next semester plan of attack. Yea, I plan!

4. I pre ordered Dan Brown's latest and plan to keep wireless on the Kindle why I sleep Monday into Tuesday the 15th . All I am doing that day is reading that book. Like Corey says, "I don't read, I devour books." I cannot say that is untrue. I get into a series or author I like and that's it, I am smitten. Gimmie some action, suspense, throw in some good plausible research and you can take me ANYWHERE! And on that also Josh McMains book Uncubicled has now been signed to a publisher! Remember all of us who shamelessly pimped the book when you are famous dude!

5. I got a "Tree Hugger" and Noah's Ark status in Farmville and had to post it just for Kristi. Many who read my FB stuff are going to think we are insane, good because quite frankly, we are!

6. Allergies decided to become major arse holes and attack me. Up to 2 Zertec a day, WTF? Nope, still feel like my head is in a fish bowl and each nostril is taking turns being plugged while the other runs. Ahhhh, my ears are filled and it really just blows. Yea, pun totally intended!

7. I am sure my throat is raw as a side effect of this too, not screaming my head off as Wisconsin pulled a "W" off yesterday, as did Nebraska. Go Big Red baby!

8. Hung at the neighbors house twice this week. Tara is hysterical! The banshee arrived over there yesterday and nearly shat when she saw us giggling under the deck. She got very middle school standing between us and addressing only her. Whatever, she is in her 50's she should grow the hell up. I totally thought for a minute she was going to mark Tara as her territory and piss on her leg or something!

9. I let Logan watch Home from Collective Soul he brought out all sorts of instruments. He figures by the time he's ready someone will retire and all his hard work will pay off. His fall back career is a either a Blue Angels pilot or astronomer. AND if this gets again to Collective Soul's eyes as a couple of my blogs have, re follow me dudes! You know you miss my blogs, and I am withholding my review on your new CD till I get around to it am re followed. I was one of the first 160 or so followers. Grrr...twitter. I will also like to thank Collective Soul for some great tweeps who I frequently talk to now, I met through RT from them. You girls all ROCK!!! =P

10. MIL had her breast reduction and as I figured is not as happy about it as I was. Like I told her though no one slammed a truck door into her chest the day after the surgery like mine! She got drainage tubes, I didn't have them. I had anti nausea stuff pre-op, she got none. In about 3 months she will be happy she had it done and is a C cup; if there are no other crap come up. All plastic surgeons are not the same, she should havew asked to be refered to Finkle.

11. Corey put together his app for LaCrosse, but he says he will not tell me if he puts out for it or not till it closes. Umm yes you will, and you better have put out for it. Enough said.

12. Had a fun 2 hour conversation with Ihatewhine, check out her blog. Too cute!

Crap I am looking forward to this coming week:

Tuesday: Logan goes back to school.

And other than that I got nothin'.

Ticks Me Off Tuesday

As I sit here this morning jazzed up on caffeine and ummm not studying. I am getting out my TTOT blog I think even before Midwest Mommy this week. Last week presented me with several interesting issues. Culminating with me deciding I am taking up drinking coffee, or hard liquor to handle shit from now on.

1. Twitter, I love you for being a place I can just post whatever comes to my mind and people enjoy reading it in 140 character or less. You get my #1 this week because you un-followed me from Collective Soul. Normally this wouldn't be a big deal for most right. I love the ability to post whatever and if it catches the bands eye they post back. Now, sorry but that is just cool. Not many celebs who have been around as long as them reach out to the fans and stay involved. They accidentally made last weeks TTMOT post and are back again due to you Twitter being Twits. Fix it. I know they miss my witty blog, or something. Come on, Logan thinks his Mamma is so cool because they have tweet back to me a time or two. I am more careful about what I say, and glad what I said about one of them wasn't as accessible back in the '90's when I was on the radio...(blush) Now for others, remember Collective Soul is trying to re follow us as fast as they can, this is all on the twits from Twitter, NOT the band!

2. Honestly should be #1 but music takes precedence in my heart is the fact that when a school improves a site it should work. I am taking pure online and individual learning classes. Me and sitting in a classroom didn't go over so well in the '90's and still holds true today. I prefer to crank the tunes and work, alone. Last Monday the classes opened up assignments all have strict due dates. All instructors refuse to let a little thing like the fact most couldn't get access till Wednesday night detour their due dates. Damn. I have been burning up the keyboard and tearing through the books.

3. My MIL, come on do I even have to go there? WE had a great relationship for 7 years and Logan came around and well she changed. Corey had a couple rows with her this weekend and I was so close to telling her to Feck off. I am not the Betty Crocker, let's sit and watch HSN and QVC person. I would rather have my nose in a good novel or on the computer learning something. I sired the last in the King line, I get there is responsibility in that in the families eyes. Kids need boundaries though, your kids had them! I cannot help your mom didn't like girls, and preferred sons. I don't want to get in a pissing match about who's mother was worse with you woman! Lay off I am a damn good mother, my kiddo is super smart and it's from MY hard work, MY sacrifice and don't forget it. I don't want your matriarchal position in the family, really I have my own crap to tend too. So lay the feck off!

4. Blue Angels. You shortened your show Saturday AND from what I hear Sunday. #3 wouldn't have occurred this weekend if you had not been scheduled to fly at Offut this weekend. AND when it says you fly at 3pm, I expect to at least see Fat Albert wheels up by 3:15 when the whole of the show was ahead of time. I understand you are the rock stars of the show, but lets not be the coked out divas and show up 1.5 hours late and fly for 20 minutes. That's just pathetic. You are lucky I was still all warm and fuzzy from seeing the B-2 in the 2 o'clock hour. You were wheels up at about 4:17 and done by 4:43 nice. For that you make the TTMOT. Psst, I like the Thunderbirds better anyways, there I said it!

For you 4 you get the award from Midwest Mommy

Have a great week people!
