Drizzle, Drizzle, Fo-zizzle

So, because I am a hardcore beat box rapper on twitter with my hommies Amy, and Marsha.  We are so trying to be back up rappers for the rock band Collective Soul.  Really that's what they are missing, us!  lol.

Anywhoo, back in reality Nooo, don't make me go!!! it has been crappy weather here.  Snowed twice this week, utter suckfest people.  So as the TV weather men as well as my own bi-otch weatherman keeps using such foul and offensive language as drizzle, freezing rain and other inappropiate words.  Being on top of my game the last couple days I have been saying, "drizzle, drizzle, fo-zizzle."  Why, because I can damn it!  And this morning, it was all over the news.  For some reason my weatherman feels he needs to compair his foecast with the TV meterologiests.  That whole OCD thing again, I guess.  Word of the day today, drizzle.  Early morning + not wanting to be awake = Krimsin who will just hang on one thing.  Drizzle was it this morning.  I sat in bed singing, "drizzle, drizzle, fo-zizzle."  Totally ignoring the run a round the tv moron met was saying.  Had I been on my game or cared I totally would have causght it.  He contridiceted himself.  So my weatherman being the upstanding person he was turned to me and said, "now see why people don't velieve shit we say?"  I was still singing, now in my head.  Snapped back into "reality" and said, "Umm, what I was just singing 'drizzle, drizzle, fo-zizzle.' "  But I gave my cute smile.  He looked at me and trying not to laugh, "Why can I see you doing that?"  It's 'cause I have totally wore you down these last 12 years you love me!  Now when you hear drizzle you will all say "drizzle, drizzle, fo-zizzle."  And your welcome!

Tick Me Off Tuesday

  • Childhood obesity: Blue Cross Blue Shield BMI index say Logan is morbidly obese.  Have you seen my kid, from birth minus those chubby cheeks you can see darn near every bone in his body.

That pic was a couple months ago too.  Honestly, I get the whole kids eat junk food and sit in front of the TV shat,

but my little dude is all muscle and no jiggle. He cannot sit still even if I were to duct tape him down.  I have threatened him with it too.  He doesn't really like fries and when we go to places like McDonald's he gets apple dippers and doesn't eat the caramel and has chocolate milk.  That is his choice, he also loves crunchy veggie and salads are the fo-zizzle to him.  Screw you to the BMI, yes there is an epidemic of fat kids, but my kid is not one of them.  According to his doctor Logan is in the 45% for weight, so who do we believe the Govenment standard or our won eyes?

  • On the subject of kiddos, you really want to piss me off side with Hollyweid on the it's ok to rape a kid.  It is just wrong.  I am a shining example of how being molested as a child can adversly effect you.  Sure I am not you drugged out, high risk person, but I carry the PTSD from it to this day.  So, maybe the realization that my mother knew about it and didn't give a shit may have something to do with it too.
Try sneaking up on me once, I am likely to try to tear your face off before checking who you are.  I sleep with my eyes open for god sakes, and have defensive items strewn throughout the house.  Yep no damage here, none what so fecking ever.  THe night terrors are likely the most not fun, while having Logan had almost curbed the waking up kicking, screaming and bolting from the bed, I still have those nights.
This article just made me once again hate everything there is to hate about Hollyweird.

  • Racial/Ethnic brotherhood-Mexican restaurant First let me say, this restaurant in this next bit makes the best Mexican forod around here.  Not saying much as it's there, Taco John (aka the grease pit), and Taco Bell, oh and there is Sanchez Place too I guess, but I call it snatches place, so yea, no I don't want to go there again....Said place is run by a straight out of Mexico, legal person.  So, all your papers are legit, lets get down to it and eat!  I won't even ask if the others there are legal, unless they continuously feck up my orders and I have to send it back for a 4th time.  I said flour, hard shell, chicken taco with tomato.  Come on how many times can you mess it up?  Answer: 4, before I cave and tell you to take it off my bill.   I was willing to forgive and forget for your salsa alone.  Then one day a few weeks back I wonder in and am served by the one you call "Gringa"  yea that should have been a heads up there was trouble in my non ethnic utopia!  We shall call the poor girl "J."  J told me about your Hot red salsa, I was in love.  Not only that, my order came out correct.  She also kept the precious ambrosia like salsa flowing for me.  She was great and I went back the following week.  Again same girl, again the following week, same perfect.  I was getting into this whole lunch on my own.  Then the ball dropped, I walked into Walmart 3 weeks ago and there was J, as a Walmart greeter.  She asked if I had been to the Mexican place since last week, I told her no.  I was set to go tomorrow.  She told me she was fired.  She is a bit like me, maybe that's why I liked her, so I figured she shot off her mouth one too many times and got canned.  She informed me quite the opposite, one of the other workers there, one I know I heard refer to her as a "Ginga" had gotten into a disagreement over tips.  Somehow J's tables were being fleeced of tips, and she was sure this other person was doing it.  The owner flat out told her he would side with this other person just because they were of the same ethnic heritage.  I thought all this progressive thought shit was supposed to be embraced now that Yes, We Can is in effect.  Or was that more political bull shit, because it seems to me we are more divied then ever before.

Embrace the cultures, language, and all her beauty.  Don't spread hate, and side on ethnic crap.  Quite honestly when you are here as a productiveleagle member of the country, I could give a shit less where you were from, you are here now and you are an American. Moral of the rant:  Our Ethnicity is nothing but what we came from, not who we are.  For the most part those in this country (leagally) are Americans.  That is what we all are here.  This stupid minority bashing/whining about being about being is bunk.  People look at those who are white supremacist as morons, why because they are white and morons? and think their Race" is the best?  News break so do other "cultures" and they are looked at as pregressive.  Sorry I'm confused.  And why is is so damn fun to tell jokes about white trash and have it publically acceptable then have to whisper about other ethnic backgrounds?  We are all countrymen, get the hell over it.  I like the fact little dude doesn't denote someones skin color/ ethnicity and plays with all the kids in his class.  P.S. I totally caved after 2 weeks of boycotting the joint and ate there last night.  I think they put crack or something in the salsa to hook you on it.

VICTORY

I was about to bust out the ol' pom pons while the weatherman was on the phone with the MIL.  As most convros usual revolve around my lack of parentla ability or how my lack of parenting abilities cause such shat as global warming etc...So the subject of my idea of little dude going into Tae Kwon Do  and his reluctance to do any form of self defence.  I pretty much as usual broke him down to doing it.  I am really good at bothering till I get me way He totally came around to my way of thinking and reluctantly happily brought Logan to Tea Kwon Do with me.  Anyways, back to the phone convro.  Weatherman told my MIL it was my idea and it went all down hill from there.  Convro went to time spent with little dude vs just dropping a kid off somewhere.  MIL brought up the couple times we had tried to go somewhere without little dude and leave him with them.  She tried to say we did that.  Weatherman went from calm to pissed off in a blink of an eye.  Said event she talked about went down a little something like this:  It was before Christmas '05 we were going to run out and get a new conforter for our bed.  MIL told is that little dude should stay with them since we wouldn't be gone long.  We no sooner got 1/4 a mile away and she called screaming at us over the phone that little dude was crying and she was just freaking out.  We turned around and got back.  She started yelling at us as we walked into the door.  Pretty much telling us that we were abandoning our child.  WHAT didn't she just say...?   That little stunt gave her a once way trip to not seeing your grandkid prison for months.  And cemented her place in mother-in-laws-from-hell

Weatherman reminded her of the fact she couldn't handle little dude crying, ever.  Wow.  What did you do with my husband and can you stay instead of the Mama's Boy?  I had to exit the room as I was really wanting to yell "in your face bio-tch to her!"  A small immature, victory, but V-I-C-T-O-R-Y either way baby!  You have been called MIL hahahahahaha!  I hope the trend continues!

Week In Review

Monday I was roped into cooking dinner and making dessert.  Thank you to Marsha for sending her MIL;s recipie for Apple crisp, as well as clarifying not to boiling the apples.  I figure and meal I cook and no one gets food poisioning, is a great meal!  I didn't get to go to the dance class, go figure.  Monday night after dinner sucked big.  Let me rephrase that last sentence.  Monday night was a waste of my time, and voice.  For those who have not been blessed with hearing me yell Your ears are thankful you are missing out.  I am L-O-U-D.  Add in the Packers vs. Viqueens and it ramps it up a couple more notches.  I give the little dude boucoup props for not waking, or if he did stayed quiet during the game.

Tuesday Little dude started Tae Kwon Do and seemed to enjoy it.  You can pop over to his site and see a couple pics I took with my cell phone.

Wednesday I decided I would just start buying all my mineral makeup at Sally's, now I just have to figure out the correct colors.  I hate makeup because everytime I find something I like within a month, the discontinue it.  Thank you Sully for getting shat stuck in the hair around your arse.  Thank you to the weatherman for pointing it out and not doing anything about it.  Leaving me to snip, comb, and pick shat out of Sully's arse for about 35 minutes.  I couldn't think of ANYTHING more fun then doing that.  My sister called out of the blue and asks me what Logan would like for Christmas.  Wow, we have never gotten even a Christmas card from her.  I do hope she isn't doing it because I told her what I was getting her kiddo.

Thursday Twitter went down for a couple hours, I honestly missed my tweeps!  We all resorted to emailing and direct messaging eachother.  Yes, addicts, every damn one of us!  Little dude pointed out his BFF was celebrating his birthday at school Friday.  So we went out and bought him some of those Toy Story Army Men in authentic Toy Story packaging.  Little dude was so excited to give it to his BFF, Cody.  Corey got out of work an hour early to watch the second 1/2 of the Husker game.  Well, I guess he would have only had to see the last 5 minutes or so as that is when the Huskers realized they had scored nothing and decided to kick some arse and take some names.  I did some studying during the game, but did redesign Little Dude's Blog, and Sully's Blog with backgrounds from Dotty Dot's Backgrounds.

Friday I realized I was totally snubed for a Nobel Peace Prizer in Lit, for my blog.  I am greatly pained by this, and think I need a hug!  I also got a ton of school work done including vocab and oral projects.  <--always sounds so dirty when I say that!  And I missed my twitter friends for the second time in a week!  I dropped off the thank you to the ladies who gave me the tour last week. Little Dude and I ate pizza and watched Casper, it was fun.  The weatherman was roped in to working from 3pm to 3:30am, coming home in blinding snow.

Saturday You heard it right, snow.  Here, and it's only the 10th of October!  We trucked it out to the Hastings Museum and did the playdate.  It was all about bands.  Logan wore his hat all over the house all day long after we got home.  Today was Little Dude's BFF official birthday.  So Happy Birthday to him!  Also, today was Dean Roland from Collective Soul's birthday.  Many of you know we are all fans of the group, none more so then Little Dude. Little Dude wanted me to tape him wishing Dean a Happy Birthday.  I thought it would be just that.  Here is the recording.  I got Little Dude showered early and made a huge bowl of popcorn and watched Men in Black II and then Men in Black I since they were on tv.  He was asleep before I walked out the door after tucking him in!

Handed to You

If you are a Mizzou fan leave now, this is meant to offend will offend your delicate way of being after Nebraska handed it to you in the pouring rain Missou fans tears last night.  I am still shocked the little dude slept through all the screaming that ensued in the house last night.  Of course he slept thru Monday night, happily the outcome last night was more jovial.  Yes, I know Nebraska played like a bunch of fools for 95% of the game.  For those of you who didn't watch Nebraska didn't officially start playing till about 5 minutes left in the last quarter.  They promptly began kicking the living snot out of the opponent.  But as in racing it ain't over till the bitter end.  Here is the bitter pill you need to swallow Mizzou, after getting your ASSES handed to you late last night.

Thank you Kristibrat for the awesome photo I stole it form her.  Click on her name to here her story from last night!

I think I speak for all Husker nation by saying these two things:
  1. Bo Pelini is the fo-zizzle, I mean I would put him up there with Chuck Norris.
  2. Suh is the best college player out there, peroid.
So lets all yell it together...
SSSSSSSSUUUUUUUUUUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Happy Birthday to Blog!

Even though my first post to the blog was October 19th Blogoversary says today is the day that changed the bloggity world forever!  I took my blog from the confines of Friends only on MySpace to Blogger and  The Official Blog of Krimsin was born and out there for all to see!

I am so damn fabulos I have to wish my bitch palace blog a happy flippin 1st Birthday.

I transferred most everything over from myspace, or did I?Upon further review the answer is no caller, no, I didn't.  It was a year and 3 cell phones ago so I can't remember.  We have had some fun ol' blog and I, we have bravely put up 1st rough drafts of my 2 book excerpts, covered some heavy shat, fun events, dumb stuff, and entertained many a people.  Really that's the point.  Abject tomfoolery, the only way to fly!  Most my writing is incoherency and garbled nonsense, when you have smart assperson ADD that happens (like now).  Thanks to all those loyal readers who follow, or those who just peek on from time to time to read as a guilty pleasure.  Blog and I would like to thank you for reading and the comments that make the already rocking blog that much flippin cooler!

Tick Me Off Tuesday

  • The picture says most.

The final score Monday night says it all.  Yelled a lot.  I told Gruden countless times while he reminisced about his Farve love-fest to "feck off."  Ok, I was actually yelling it and many other things.  This amused the weatherman immensely.   I would be the worlds best football coach I swear, I have a small tolerances to stupidity and above all else I am LOUD and somewhat frightening most of the time when I get pissed off.   Monday night I actually had to stop tweeting during the game as I was so flustered with what was going down.  Note to Packers, he sold out, sadly Rodgers is your QB even tho he is a sniveling little baby so protect him, not Farve.  When sellout has ball you don't wait till he finds the hole and shoot off his cannon, it's just wrong.  In the sellouts defense, Packer Management handled the whole "Farve Gate" badly so both sides are at fault in the debacle.  Still going to the Viqueens make it REALLY REALLY hard to show any semblence of pity to the sellout.

  • When one shops on Ebay yes, there is always a chance there is an error or something.  Well I think living out in boo-foo Nebraska leaves me at a disadvantage when it comes to purchasing items.  I can't really just go out and buy somethings in town.  I really don't have the 40 minutes to go to Grand Island or the hour15 minutes to go to Kearney Target.  So, I hit amazon and Ebay for "dead tree copy" books for little dude after the 2 local book stores, Wal Mart, Menards, and Kmart didn't have the books I was searching for.

I found a lady on Ebay who was selling two of the books I needed for about 3 bucks.  I was thinking cool, great feedback, I'm sold.  Shipping really negated the deal at 4 bucks for 2 books BUT, when you want the books, you suck it up.  Then you get the books with a sticker:

You know, fine take a buck or two off the top for your greed.  Cool, of hell no, BUT again you take
your chance in shopping on Ebay.  BUT then the 2 books come with  1.73 postage sticker postage due, yea its not cool.  On principle I see this as spotty business, you over charge for shipping AND still leave more out there hanging.

Marsha's post for the week really isn't getting any snarky pics this week as it is a fairly pointed and IMHO a serious issue in many places.  Am I Catholic? Oh no, but I do see how this lady you are about to meet is misguided in a BIG way! In most schools you are entrusting your child from the moment they walk through the doors till they come out to be safe, and educated. On not just the 3 r's, but about tradition, honor, integrity, compassion/empathy and what it takes to be a productive member of a community as a worker but also as a person. Little dude is in a small school that presses values and is surprisingly a public school.

 So, a little history -
Each class has a retreat each year - Freshmen go to Stone Mountain and have "Mass on the Mountain"; Sophomores go to all of the old Catholic Churches of downtown Atlanta to learn about the history of these churches and the impact they have had in the city of Atlanta; Juniors visit the Monastery in Conyers, GA for the day and then the Senior class then returns to Stone Mountain for Mass so that they come full circle.
We are a Catholic High School for Christ's sake! (no pun intended!)

So, this woman, who shall remain nameless, calls to complain about us closing school 1/2 day on Thursday so that the funeral for not only the first paid employee of our school, but a founding father and our first football coach can be held here where he spent most of his life.  She had the audacity to ask if any other former faculty members died, would we close school for them as well - my boss' response - it depends on who it is! (Love it!)  She said that she is not getting her tuition's worth of reading, writing and 'rithmetic! Excuse me! What about compassion? What about respect? What about honor? When a child is sent to our school, it is not only our responsibility to teach them true "academics" but also to teach them about life and how to be a compassionate, loving, contributing member of society.  So, after she ranted about the funeral, she then asked if we would be sending her child on any more "religious" field trips this year, because her son's time was being wasted at the Monastery. Yesterday just happened to be the Sophomore retreat to the downtown churches.  So, her son is a sophomore and she thinks he's on the Junior pilgrimage! She doesn't even know where her son is!  If she is so against him going on these "religious" field trips, why did she sign the permission slip? He can stay in the library and study all day to get her $$ worth of academia if that's what she wants!

So, my boss spoke to her and elegantly stated that they would have to agree to disagree on this matter and that if she felt so strongly about these matters that maybe they should withdraw at the end of the semester.  We'll see... I think she's just one of those people that has to have everyone else be as unhappy as she is.  Whatever!  I feel sorry for her child and I hope that this apple falls far away from that tree.  He doesn't deserve the lessons that she is teaching - he deserves so much more.

So, bottom line, you want to send your child to our school, you need to buy into the whole philosophy, mission of the school.  If you don't agree with all that we do, find another school.  We don't need your negativity breeding more negativity!  We have better things to do, like educate students!

TAPS busted for being fake...again

Forget Wedding Anniversary?

So make it up by getting some swank camo jackets from Cabelas to celebrate the 13 years since the night you met (Nov 14th, 1997).  Neither of us "need" winter coats, but Corey has this obsession (Shocking I know) with Jackets.  By obsession, I mean almost as bad as I am with books, bad...Far be it for me to turn down something warm.  So he made me order him this bad boy:

While I got the other style in a woman's cut:

Why camo, you ask?  Good question, we are not hunters. Answer, and I shat you not, he just wanted a camo jacket.  He figured the only way he could get one was by getting me one too.  We have a Cabelas club card and acquire dollars"points" from them.  Points we had 98.03.  I had a coupon for 50 bucks off totaled items of 200-299.  So he says, "I get yours for free, like I didn't even have to spend a penny on you."  Smooth dude, really smooth.  Honestly, ladies I married him because he's hot!  I still feel I come out ahead.  Free-ish or not, I am still getting a new jacket.  So there {sticking my tongue out}!

Slacker, slacker yes I am! (Week-In Review)

I really need to start this blog Sunday and update it throughout the week. I am so pathetic I have to pull out my BB to see what I have been doing!

Monday-ish I decided I hate doing spreadsheets by following directions. I know how to do the project, by not going step by step but doing it my own way. My grade will fall if I do that tho. Damnit. Conformity is just is not my style. Well, I had the spreadsheet almost complete went to go save it and the damn thing crashed! Yep up and died. Many words went thru my mind, I will leave it at that. So to the bowels of the temp files to find the last save. Last save happened before my updates. About flipping right.

Tuesday- I decked out in my old suit form the bank, actually put on makeup, and pulled my hair into a headband. and was off to the walk thru of the records facility at Marry Lanning. What should have lasted no more then an hour pushed close to two as I sat and chatted with the ladies there just about stuff. I have that knack to BS and likely cemented a spot for clinicals if not a job once classes are complete. As I was told to check back, periodically thru my classes with the Dept director. Did I learn a lot, sure, best of all was a real world scenario of:

Most of the employees work from home. She was impressed I was doing both Coding and Med Transcribing together,. being wife and mother while still staying sane. I told her sanity is in the eyes of the beholder, she liked that. There is something to be said for being the first one to get the project completed, you set the bar for others. So I have to get my write up done for my class, and get the Thank you's out this Monday.

Wednesday was a weird mail day. I got 2 packages, one super cool and made me do the Snoopy dance, the other irked the hell out of me. One of my friends burned me a copy of Collective Souls induction into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame (Snoopy Dance). Thank you again girlie! Second was some Magic Tree House books for little dude. I paid 4 bucks for shipping and she had a stamp machine from home print out the price of under 2 bucks. Fine, till it came with postage due! Yep made my TMOT blog coming up for sure. Principle people.  Then going on to the mail itself, 2 items one for Cancer insurance, and one from AAA about sudden death.  WTF?

Thursday- School work for me and Logan's worse day at school. THey go one a reward system at his school for 1st and K classes. Brown bear is what you start and strive to keep all day. Blue is like a warning (Logan visits him often as he won't shut up in class.). Purple 5 minutes timeout during free play inside. Orange 10minutes during recess. Red Bear, off to the principal and phone call home. He ventured to the land of Orange bear, but not shutting up and answering all the questions w/o giving others a chance AND bitch-slapped the class bully in line. Part of me laughed he retaliated as he did too bad he got caught, but as a "responsible" parent I had to scold him w/o cracking the smile that was hardly hidden. He told me tomorrow would be better.  He should have specified how little much better.

Friday-For Logan it was purple bear as he again doesn't get the point of shutting up. The teacher also found out how he curbed his addiction to doodling on his school work. Yep, he took to the desk, not the top, oh no that would be to obvious the inside of it! When she explained that the desk really wasn't his and he would have to cleran it up he replied, "Are you kidding me?" She replied, "No you have to clean it up." Logan again, "I can clean it, fine. So, you are positive I can't keep this desk?" He was more distraught about the not keeping of the desk!  He is what his teacher must fear will happen in the future, if his doodling doesn't get under control:

As for blogging this week I have been a bit slow. In saying that I have been reading and posting on others blogs some old some new.

Then there is my drug of choice, Twitter. I could blame my friends on there, I could blame a band, or a white rabbit I talk to from time to time, but I just really enjoy saying whatever the hell I feel like right then and there.

I usually have been tossing up tweet deck with Twitter only up while I am studying. I would have blogged on Friday, I bet but someone worked from home and instead of using one of the other 2 computers so sweetly took mine. Thinking I offered it to him, he took it over. Yea, um, no! This laptop is MINE, what do I have to do lick it, or something a bit more drastic?

I was researching legislative bills as he sat next to me and moved it. I was pissed went upstairs brushed the dog and took a 40minute nap. I in true woman fashion waited to mention it till 10pm that night. Causing a HUGE argument.

Resulting in us ending it at 3am-ish. He had to be up for work at 6, so in theory I won, cause as soon as he left, I went back to bed. Ha, eat that punk!

Saturday- We went out to see the Toy Story double feature in 3D. I need to wear contacts to wear those god awful glasses.

So I put in my contacts, or so I thought. Went to do a fast load of laundry and noticed my right eye seem blurry. So I went back and looked. No contact. I knew there was no way in hell I would find the thing. I had one old RX lens, now I know why I kept it. I put it in and it felt a bit funny. but stayed in. I was having a headache all thru the movies. But they were darling and worth it. I think the Toy Story 3 preview was worth the price of admission. After the movie we walked over to Jimmy Johns and got some subs. Logan was renamed Buzz Lightyear by the people there! Ha. Came home Chillaxed, went to go buy me new contacts, as I was out. Near the end of the night, I was still clearing goo out of my right eye. I was about to pull out the contact and toss them both and out came the missing contact. Somehow it folded and suctioned to the inside of my eyelid. Ewww! In the 13 years wearing them, never has that happened. I hope it never happens again.

Sunday- We plan on doing nothing till we have to go out to the planning of the PTO haunted house at 3pm.

Looking forward to this coming week:

Tuesday: Tabby is doing my hair in the morning, Corey is going to eat lunch with Logan. PTO meeting @ 7pm-maybe?

Wednesday: Corey starts evenings giving me TONS of time to plow thru school work!

Whatever other surprises come my way.
