Ticks Me Off Tuesday

Sorry to delve dark, but its been a rough week, full of stupidity from one place or another.  I have a small loyal network of bloggers who read my rants, and they are usually smarter for reading this.  Take for instance one who emailed me this quote after reading my blog.  It's from Billy Madison, and sums up the mental fortitude one gets from reading my blog...

See, your IQ just plummets after rises reading this!  This is the mean people suck edition.
  • People who take stuff in confidence and splash it all over for the world to see.  For your eyes only means just that.  Fine somethings I said made it to a bunch of flipping people I don't even know.  Fine.  But the harshness coming from one of those people was out of fricking control.  It went from
to

So fast, it caught me off guard!  {scrambling for mace and the taser, I was} "I don't need anymore friends," for sure like that. So, if you don't like me:
  • People who don't know me and make preconceived notions of me.  I am neither feeble or weak, and I sure as HELL am not a follower.  Anyone who knows even a little about me knows that.  I was told that I am following blindly someone elses vendetta, against others.  Oh F*cking pl-ease!  Yep, I dropped the F*bomb, but this is serious stuff folks.  I have not ever or will I follow what others say just to be one of the gang.  That is not me.
That is also likely why I have few friends I trust, I don't fit into the elitist cookie cutter, Stepford wife mold that this area presents.  I think the quote was "something, something drink the kool-aid..."  Nebraska Koolaid Drinker Pictures, Images and Photos While I think the drink is rather refreshing and the fizz packets they have right now ARE 'da bomb, I hardly think that was what was meant.
Wrapping this one up:  Me=crappy follower, more leader.  This guy=crappy leader good with teleprompter.  And to answer your snarky question no it wasn't him that said I drank Kool-aid.

  • This one is self explanatory, but let me add this:  Then stay the heck out of my the real world while you have your "FUN" at others expense.
  • Attack my cred as a parent.  Even the Monster-in-law won't do this!  You know why?  Because for all the imperfections I have as a person, I give my all to the little dude.  Yes, he is very bright and has been reading independently since right before he was 3.  Hell he knew the entire alphabet and all the planet including Pluto before he was 2.  Don't believe me, ask real-life friends who actually are lucky enough to get to know him.  Call me names and try to hate on me stranger but DO NOT say things about my kid.  If he is not at school he is next to me at home.  That is how it is, always has been.  So step the hell off and back the hell off.  It's not my fault that he has exceptionally bright parents even though they may have been dropped on their heads as children one of which was reading at two and the other is a very bright scientist.  Oh you didn't know that?  Umm, could it be because you shot off your damn mouth before knew who you were talking too?  I think so.

  • This is another one that got me this week.  Hopes and dreams.  Whose life is exactly the way you pictured it in your youth? {looks around, no hands up}  So instead of dealing with the choices you have made and put on your big girl pants, you decide to lash out at others?  Come on, grow a pain and think before you act for a change.
Let's just say people can smell the bull shat you are shoveling a mile away and it getting so high, it's gonna tumble it's time to own up and deal with it.  Stop the lies and either be honest or get the heck out of my life.  Quietly please.

So any-whoo this has been a week of annoying things/ mean people and that sucks.  Let's hope next week is more snarky and fun.  But I had to get this shat off my chest.   So I will go back to my main train of thinking: lemons Pictures, Images and Photos

Lets hand out the award to all the mean people we had to deal with this week:
So who are the mean sucky people you had to deal with this week?  Leave a comment.  We shall make a voodoo doll list together, lol!

I'm Just Sayin'

So I broke down and watched the last 30 minutes or so of the State of the Union.  One thing caught my attention.  VP Biden looks a lot like a well known puppet on Comedy Central.  Are they interchangeable?    Yes, my brain works in weird ways, and you love it.
You decide...Ones got someones hand up his arse, the other his head up his.

Ticks Me Off Tuesday

Another TMOT, this week, it's the Letters Edition.  Hang on tight, its gonna be a rude and snarky bumpy ride!
********************************************************************************
Dear Hollyweird Tragedy Band-wagoners,

Thank you so very much for pointing out that Haiti is now a "hellhole" or "cesspool of disaster" post this natural Disaster.  I know some of you douches compassionate people are blaming global warming and George W. Bush, neither is correct. But if we want to pass blame, can I blame it on your lack of compassion for the country before the quake?  No?  Then STFU I guess we are even-stevens.

Let's put this in small words so you can wrap your air head around it. --Natural--Disaster-- Get it now?  Ok, moving on.  Now you can feel free to head back to raking in millions making shatty movies and only sweeping in from on mountain high when it will make you look good with your fake tears tragedy becomes our fellow man.

Offended yet?  Good.  Where the hell were you all for Haiti before the quake?  Or better yet for your own country?  What good do you do less a telethon?

~Not a fan of fakery
******************************************************************************
 Dear Owner of BBQ Joint,

We frequent your establishment not for you but your food.  We are but simple people.  Feed decent food and we shall return, often.  With that being said I think we need to lay down some ground rules all of which involve me.  I believe, no I live by the "personal space rule"  I think it would be in your best interest to study said diagram well.

There is no reason to go out of your way to touch me.  Unless my eye balls are on fire, then just throw a girl some water.  Seriously, don't touch me.  Very few are allowed as their vibes do not disrupt the Krimmyk's.  Also, when seeing me outside your establishment under no circumstances do you come up to me and ask me to prrr for you.  I will drop your arse if you ever say that to me again.

How about this stick to messing up our orders then apologizing profusely even tho we get it like 3 times a week for the last couple years...

In closing lets just make it simple for us both:

~In need of pervey skeeze repellent
*************************************************************************

Dear Lady in Front of Me,

Other than I hate your elitist attitude and your spiky hair really you look like Adam Lambert
Hair Pictures, Images and Photos
You see I have my camera equipment all set up to film my son getting his new belt this evening.  You look and plop your arse right in front of me.  WTH lady?!?!  Come the frick on, how rude!

~Wishing I had stuff for spitballs
P.S. Your neck is in baaad need of a shave, Sasquatch!

******************************************************************
Dear Cougars,

You know who you are, I thought I could over look some of the crap you were saying but as soon as my son started reading it and questioning it, it had gone too far.  It was inappropriate, and I dropped/blocked you and the others in the "cougar contingent" from all social media places.  Hooker boot is one thing, but it just went down hill and straight to hell form there.

I will always first and foremost protect the offspring before all else, if that hurts your feeling too damn bad.  There is a fine line between playful banter and what you all are likely still doing.  Sorry it had to go down that way but WTF ever.   For the record, I wasn't prompted by anyone to do it, quite the opposite in fact.  I told others after the fact.  You fools targeted the wrong person.  The drama happened right after I dropped you all, proving you all are just a bunch of freaky groupies.

Sad, some of you had such potential politically.

~Happy to have taken out the trash
**************************************************************************
Dear Murphy's Law,

Now you and I are constantly at odds, but really the crap you pulled last Wednesday is a new low.  Even for you!

Let's set the scene for those reading the weatherman 40 minutes before I am due at my annual eye exam decided the large couch would fit better in the middle level than the love seat.  I declined to point out last month this was my idea and was poo pooed. So that meant moving the heavy couch up the stairs. I was the pusher up the stairs, as my legs are the strongest.  Can we saw stupid?  I was on tippy-toes pushing the damn thing up over the stairs.  I don't recommend it being 5foot three-ish.  Some how something got into my eye.  Did I feel it.  Of course not.  Did it get pointed out that it looked like I had pink eye form hell?  Yep.  Observe:

Dr. said no cool new O2 Air Optics (Night and Day) till next Wednesday (tomorrow).  I was soo looking forward to giving these bad boys a shot.  Murphy, you knew it and to show your prick-ishness of all the days dude.  Just wait someday your day will come...

As usual all listed above are posthumously going to receive the highest award one can muster on Tuesdays, lucky bastards the who lot of'em!

So tell me about what ticks you off.  It need not be in letter form.

Help Haiti, why should we?

I just want to get this blog out of the way:  WTH people.  Haiti wasn't exactly a nation of prosperity, but it's a living hell hole now post earthquake.  I am hearing shat both for and against aid.  I think the celeb telethons are a fricking joke.  While all those celebs were helping out Katrina "victims" and our government was opening the check book to them and area in Wisconsin was being shunned.  Why?  Because it's all about timing dearies.  Days before the areas around Esophia, WI were hit by several tornadoes.   Over 75% of the structures uninhabitable, he towns basically wiped out.  Fed aid, nope it all went to NO.  For the record the night that those tors hit there they already were guessing the path of the hurricane and telling people to evacuate.  NO had days, those in WI had no more than 5 minutes of warning.  So pardon my not giving a shat about them taking up my TV time.  Back to the point of this post.

First off, if you blame the quake on either God's wrath or Global warming get the hell off of my blog before I have to kick your ass.  I have seen too much carp over the last few days since the quake.  One of the main charities with it's token celeb was funneling money.  Text for Haiti and none of it goes there.  Whatever.  They need assistance for just the basic needs right now.  They are making shelters out in the open with sticks right now, in fear of the next aftershock.  Tents and cash are needed.  Here is a list of checked and double checked AMERICAN BASED charities. I have given a bit to several charities.  I went to Fox News who has done a heart wrenching yet wonderful job.  Take time to watch some of these clips.  From showing children waiting to be adopted to their parents in the USA, to the impersonal mass graves mixed with dirt and garbage, and a mothers worse nightmare.  As a parent I cannot even fathom any of this.  You can hate Fox News for its sometimes Right views, but without them the state department would NOT have gotten these children.

With that being said other countries are doing things that are far better then our presidents idea of letting our donations be tax deductible this year instead of next year.  Big fricking deal.  Canada is matching dollar for dollar the donations in their country.  Nice.  Oh Canada!  So looking north, I found this charity whose stuff I have bid on before.  Comfort Doll.  Take a second to look at the auction, there will be other artists up in the coming days too.  The first is with Pete Levin.  Here is the link.

She has in the past done photos with Collective Soul and most recently Blues Traveler!

Most of you who read this blog are parents.  Mothers.  What if it was your child stuck under a pile of rubble, what would you do?  I know form the bottom of my heart knwoing someone donated their hard earned money to bring in the heavy moving equipment to save my baby, would mean the world to me.

Natural disasters happen everywhere.  Death happens.  But out of the tragedy comes compassion.  Just 5 bucks does add up.

Where in the World is Krimsin?

Well if you have not guessed it yet, the dog hasn't killed me yet. Though he did have a tumor removed two weeks ago.  It was quite a scare. And I have surprisingly not wound up in a padded room for the last two weeks.  I still can't believe that is a trip I haven't taken yet.  But, the bed does look quite cozy...

That leaves one thing SKOOL FO.  Yep til the fricking season again.  I am bogged down with one hell of a load this semester.  I shat you not, the comps prof from last semester asked about my work load for the semester.  He cringed.  So what is the Krimmyk taking you ask?  Disease Condition and Disorders, because the summer class wasn't enough damn punishment Anatomy and Physiology 2 (Paging Collective Soul again!), Pharmacology, and Medical Typing.  WTF, my adviser must really hate believe in me, encouraging this for the semester.

I hit the books hard and out of the 27 chapters in Pharmacology I am currently sitting with  chapters 13-14 almost complete, and one third of the reports done.  Disease Conditions has 21 chapters and 3 papers due with actual due dates fuuuuck (if I play my cards right I can use the same paper for both Pharm and Disease).  So I am to chapter 8 for that class too.  A&P had 9 chapters with only tests because dude is a big arse slacker busy man.  This will require about a week of solid Collective Soul blasting looped music undisturbed by husband or offspring. Med typing is going to be my class from hell.  first assignment 75 pages of typing.  75 freaking pages one assignment.

I'll get around to that class.  I am hoping to have my 1st 2 all completed by Spring Break that's mid March. Then hit the other 2 classes like it's no ones business!

So till then I ask you to forgive me for slacking on reading/commenting blogs.  I will try to take at least one day a week to read them.  And as for posting, I will as I can slip it in.  They will entertain, and be worth waiting for.

Non school related while reading my Disease book last night I was cruising the channels and saw:

He equals do not change the channel and drool freely.  Always has.  Yes, I have a tall dark and handsome thing, he would be the one that started it.  Lets saw the movie as usual was horrid, but the "scenery" was nice.   Krimsin was a happy lil' book geek.  The weatherman was harassing me that I can watch such a crappy zombie movie if he's in it but won't watch Titanic.  My comeback, the only good thing about that movie other then him was Leo dies.  He doesn't see what I see in him, I think his penis may be blocking the reason...So on that lovely note I said it, drum me out the woman club for thinking Leo is a little twerp.

One line of sanity is my phone visits and emails with my girlie friends, Marsha, Donna, & Christina.  Talking with Marsha about things that matter of the world, politics to just stupid shat.  The little chats help keep me grounded and out of the books.  It also helps she lives a timezone away and when she calls she reminds me to pick up the little dude.  For that, we both thank her!  Donna gives me little projects to do, and so many amazing things to think about.  Christina is in school too, so I feel her pain, and she cracks me up!  My little trio of friends keeping me out of the padded room.  Love ya girls!
 So back to the books.

Fine-a-frickin-ly

So yeah its been real Little Dude, but after 20 days of wall to wall you time.  Plus the 2 weeks before that of late starts or no school (27 in all) your arse is back in school.  All be it two hours late.  I think you and I both did the happy dance.
happy dance Pictures, Images and Photos
I get a whole 4.5 hours to myself.  You had your hommies waiting for you at the door as we got to school..  BTW, why the hell were they all 5th and 6th graders when your in Kindergarten?  Plus where was my kiss and hug?   Not only that I get stuck hanging up your backpack!  Prick REALLY?  Too bad it was so cold, no visibility, or the 8 foot drifts and the only road into our subdivision was closed down for most of vacation so you couldn't hang out with others other then me.

But lets be honest, I'm pretty damn awesome or so your have been brain washed to believe you tell me.  Not many mothers will play Super Mario on the Wii for hours turn around and play it tell stories about it and let you watch dvd's staring those plumbers.  And don't even get me started on the Harry Potter-a-thon you have had. We cooked, baked, and exploded that pork loin in the oven I had flashbacks to chemistry we'll talk about that when you get older.  Oh admit it, I wore you out once or twice.  I have it on film home-skillet.

It's true you and I do better as a two-some you throw the Weatherman into it and you become a royal asshole pain. The butting of heads I can live without, but I hear it will come in handy as you get older it better or heads are gonna roll, I'm just sayin'
smack down Pictures, Images and Photos
I digress, You are now back at school, I get an entire couple hours to myself.  Sully likely doesn't miss you almost stepping on him misses you, I'm heart sick missing my co-conspirator in driving The Weatherman insane.  I'll just be here crying, counting the seconds till you are home for another 2 fricking days.  It'll look a lil' somethin' like this:
dancing Pictures, Images and Photos
At least we have the Museum play date tomorrow morning.  I'll be hitting the coffee shop before I go there fo sho!  Let's hope this extended family time doesn't occur again for a while I think we have both had our fill.  We managed sure, it's because well, we rock damn it.  But really summer is a whole new ball of waz, you can get locked play outside for more then a minute.  I just know if something like this happens again anytime soon you will be an unhappy camper, and I well I may just need a padded room.

Ticks Me Off Tuesday

It's a new year and a new Tick Me Off Tuesday.  For my new readers you may just be haring about this.  It is one or more things that really ticked you off. Totally Tick Me Off Tuesday was the brain child of Mommy from the Midwest. This was her "award" to those who Tick us off weekly. She been broken down by my insentient begging has decided to bestow the honor to me to continue on with the weekly posts and let me even make it my own.  SQUEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So there is a new beyotch sheriff in town and I will try my best not to let her down!  Let's put the old lady to rest, she has served us all well, and will be missed.
Here is what the old award looked like:

I know coolness huh?  Well I thought I would top it with my favorite picture.

This week I will start it out fresh and with a guest blogger.  Since I'll be honest my last week was sooo shitty every other word would likely be a curse even more so then usual :-) and likely be served divorce papers if I let it all hang out, so it's safer using Marsha's.  Old readers may remember Marsha's Corner from earlier in the year.  Well she had a doozie of a post, and I couldn't resist putting it in for this week.  So to Kick things off for twenty-ten is Masha's post.

Corner

"So, here's the fabulous car repair story from Saturday 1/2/10 -

My car is 12 years old, 160,000+ miles and is still in pretty good condition.  We've never had to have any major work done on it - that's I like best about Japanese cars.

So, it's time for the first major bit of work - I take it to NTB for tire rotation and oil change (normal maintenance) and ask them to gvie me a quote for replacing the oil pan (this is what they told me the last time that I was there-why I was having a major oil leak) and replacing the struts- knew that this needed to be done as well.

So, I get the phone call-it's not the oil pan, it's the rear engine seal and the crankcase seal (Whatever the hell that is!) and they don't repair those things. Okay, fine. I can live with that. The struts do need replacing and tires need replacing because the struts have worn out the tires, the powersteering fluid needs to be changed, etc., etc.  Then he asks if I have had problems with the car starting. NOPE - nada. The car starts first try every time - no issues. Well, he tells me that the battery is pretty much dead and that I need a new one.  We are now talking $1500 worth of repairs - it's right after Christmas - who has that kind of $$ for car repairs right now?

So, I talk to MrMarsha about the whole situation, and we agree that the struts need replacing, the two rear tires can be replaced, the oil needs to be changed and the powersteering fluid can be flushed and replaced. NO new battery is needed-we're convinced that it's fine based on no issues over the past few months.

So, we get the car back late Saturday afternoon - no more squeaky struts, which is nice, the new tires are on the back of the vehicle and it handles much better and there is less noise. YAY! We're happy with the repairs.  We drive the car around for the remainder of Saturday and think nothing else of the earlier events.

Sunday comes around, it's the coldest day we've had in quite some time, so we decide to stay in and hang out at home.  Sara decides that she wants to go work out, so fine, she gets ready to go.  I hear what I think is her leaving, garage door opens, garage door closes,  but then she comes back inside "mom, dad - the car won't start!" I go outside, I try and the engine won't even turn over. The car door bell won't ding with the key in the ignition and the door open - No electrical activity at all. This is all just a little too coincidental for me.

Then, we try to jump my car from MrM's car - nothing - WTF!? We figure out that my jumper cables don't work - they're brand new! WTF, yet again and still way too coincidental for me.

We get my neighbor's jumper cables, the car cranks on the first try. I drive around for a bit hoping it's enough to "charge" the battery to be able to get the car started Monday morning so I can get a new battery.

Well, we keep the neighbor's cables just in case and it's a good thing - the car didn't start Monday a.m.
MrM takes my car to the mechanic whose shop is right across from his office building on Monday a.m. and yep, it's the battery.

So, I'm quite annoyed with NTB because I feel that this situation was far too coincidental. I've had no problems with my car starting whatsoever. I take it in for certain services, they tell me I need a battery because I've had no issues, then I have issues. What in the hell did they do to my car!?  So, no more big automotive chains for my car! Staying with the local, honest mechanic who hasn't screwed us out of anything for as long as he has been working on MrM's car!

I'm over my annoyance for the most part, but I mean, come on - don't you think it's just a little too coincidental?"

So, now that was freaking too coincidental IMHO.  I would NOT be going back there, ever.  I also would have busted out the Gibbs slap.
Gibbs. Head. Slap. Pictures, Images and Photos
But that's just me.  I do agree TOYOTA and their other lines rock!

So to NBT in Atlanta, GA, you shifty arse bastards lucky duckies get the first TMOT award for Twenty-Ten.  Since granny is taking a break, lets see what you arse-clowns have won.
                                                               BOOM BABY.....

He's awesome isn't he?  My sezzy-arse hobo.  He is our new TMOT mascot, love him.  I know I do.

Leave me your TMOT now, & any day in your comments or leave a link to your TMOT blog post!

It's Party time!!!

So it's time for my Online Pampered Chef Party.  I have just got conformation of my first order.  My brain has lofty wishes of discounted products, but I am realistic I will likely not even get to the 500 in sales needed for the extra stuff this month.  So be it!

I am having a blast chatting back and forth with friends about what they are wanting to buy and answering questions for them.  No, I will not be selling it, but I am a firm believer that it does make the cooking less a task and more fun.  Lets face it I prefer to eat out, have them cook for me and clean up, but I have to at least act like a wife/mother and this stuffs does the trick for me!

If any of my readers are interested (USA and Canada only(I think my frozen friends can order...))  The consultants site is here and take a gander, if you find something you would like to order please note my name when it asks for hostess.  Krimsin King.
