Week In Review

-I became Kristi's Hobby, well at least antagonizing me has become her hobby. I even made her daily to-do list. If you ask me though, she has been slacking BIG time!

-Got a flippin awesome blogging award from Mama Mel!

-Began conversing on Twitter with a Rabbit...Loooong story!

Monday was as you all know, Labor Day. In parent that means no school. Logan and I decided that we like him in school better and hate long weekends (unless they start on Friday). He missed his friends, I missed quiet.

Tuesday, Corey put out for for the Sr. Met job in LaCrosse. No none of my famdamily knows about it. Family at lunch with us the Sat we were in LaCrosse knows about it (ie Bio-Dad's side) don't want to tell the rest. Corey and I got into a HUGE argument about it that night after he got home from work. I was called selfish, because I guess I never once told him, "I see it from your prospective honey." Ummm, yea, ME selfish, the one toted all over the damn Midwest while he figures out what the feck he wants to do with his life. All I will say to that comment is ELKO! Selfish my ass! I am still lit about it as I sit here now. I know I let things go so well.

Thursday, I found my new most favorite pic ever...

Friday, I was woke by Corey early saying his Tacoma's battery was dead. Marla jumped the truck and later that day we went and got a new battery. I cannot complain when this battery was the factory installed battery from '03. Hell, I cannot even say too much as I am proud he has kept a vehicle for more than 9months without buying a new one. Truckster, you are here to stay...for now!

Logan and I commemorated September 11th with the moment of silence and the recap on Fox. He remembered doing this from years past, so I was proud he stood quietly for the initial moment of silence.

I Got tons of school work done this week, only to be sidelined Friday night with a miscalculation in chapter size. By midnight, my brain shut down scholastically. I am sure however Sully was extremely entertained to hear me singing Collective Soul's Blender Cd at the top of my lungs. All the while my voice sounded like a chain smoking, whiskey guzzling bar maiden. Damn you allergies.

Saturday, Shit Creek over flowed again. Smell was wonderful.

We went to a play date at the Hastings Museum, 'Going Buggy' it was great most of the time was spent out in the "native grass" display outside the front of the building. Great for allergies, better for West Nile! Logan had fun and I guess that is what counts. Kaiden, Kellen, and Hunter were there and he played with him. Kaiden ever the diva and has not changed since preschool with Lo 2 years ago, Kel the tomboy little sister who crushes on Logan and Hunter their cousin, all chased each other eand Lo around in the grasses while we Mom's chatted about how great it would be to move back to the upper Midwest. Those 3 kids are so stinking cute, I just love when we run into them around at these events!

Bought Logan's Halloween costume. It took over 30minutes for him to choose. It was a nightmare, worse than clothing shopping with a teenage girl. All and all he looks stinking cute.

Sunday, We went out to The Night at the Museum too Experience at the Hastings Museum. It was really neat they had live characters all over the place and a passport with hieroglyphics to figure out. Yea, I cheated cause I remember bits of Egyptology from school--I know my geek is showing again! Sigh. I am not sure who Logan liked the best, I will try to get the pics up on his site sometime next week.

On the docket for next week:

More classes, bet you didn't see that one coming!
Sully needs a bath.
The Lost Symbol come out, I can hardly wait!
Truck gets to go back to GI for it's oil change.
Meet with my new program adviser and hash out next semesters game plan.
Hit an AC football game?
Maybe go see The Night at the Museum 2 with Corey at the I max next weekend.
Try to get into a normal sleeping schedual. <--pipe dream, I know!

Could have been worse!

So I was reading Lisa's blog and it had this little quiz attached to it, I thought WTH why not!

Mostly Wordless Wednesday

It was a hell of a night here last night, I don't really want to get into it. Keep it light for now. A girlfriend sent me this in an email and it made me giggle. Some will get the humor in this, the rest of you will confirm your thoughts that I am truly insane. Either way, enjoy!

Only "A listers" need apply

So Kristi must really miss me because I not only graced her blog twice today, as well as her FB page, but I got my own tag! Mind you I know I kick ass, but to be tagged in her blog which is all about Catholic hula-ba-loo, good parenting, patriotism, and all that jazz is a big deal. An honor, even! Mind you the tag is "Antagonizing Krimsin." One of the posts were about NBC thinking I was to dumb to be a parent. Ihave seen the czar list, I am an intellectual giant to those SOB's, you can quote me on that! I even made her daily to do list! She must really think I rock! BTW, I stand firmly by my NBC=douchebag comment.

So I am going to call her out and thank her for her new hobby, reccognition of me! I hope you enjoy all the FB freaks I sent your way! I am sure those who don't read your blog will pop over from here out of shear curiosity. You scheme is working! My totally rad readers will comeover and be hooked my "the hoff's" smooth tunes on your player. Yea, I am so on to you KrazyGirl, and you closet hippy ways! :P I have great friends who entertain me greatly, wish you were still in Hastings, we could really shake shat up then!

Ticks Me Off Tuesday

Hells bells, it IS Tuesday! Feels like a hang over Monday truth be told. I was up last night on twitter doing computer programing homework. I did manage to find somethings that Totally Pissed me off.

1. Husband forgot our 7th anniversary. I think I handled it quite well. I shut my mouth till he was out the door to work, popped my head out and said, "BTW, happy anniversary." If he hadn't had his shades on I bet the look would have been priceless. His response, "If it makes you feel any better, I didn't even know the date today." Yea, because it wasn't scrolling across Fox News all morning, on the computer, OR your blackberry. Nice try home-skillet. He then tried making it up by involving a co-worker resetting the anatomical clock at work to the wrong date. Sadly he forgot to do it till I walked into the door! Boys! And yet, still adore my hubby!

2. My mother, really do I have to go much more into it than just saying I had to talk to her yesterday. It is always same shatty drama different day. I was told I HAD to call and wish my nephew a happy birthday today. I said I got him a gift already. Not good enough, blah, blah, bitch at me, bitch at me. Expect her on the list any week I talk to her. She totally goes postal when I refer to her as "Mommy Dearest," so of course I try to slip it in at least once an argument...

3. Twitter, I love it. For the most part. Well I did till 2 Fridays ago when they dropped 15,000 people from Collective Soul's follows. I was one of those followers lost in the mix. Boo Hiss! Corey however newer and never bothering them, was not dropped. DAMN IT!!! So I daily comment to them pathetically that I miss being in the "in-crowd" 1/2 the fun is they do on occasion tweet back to you. So, I have had other fanatics who are still being followed to get me bumped on the list. Not working but I deeply appreciate the effort ladies! I have a feeling they are just going backward in the re-adds and in that case, it will be a while seeing as I added them early in their twittering days. le sigh. So Twitter (not Collective Soul), this is for you!

- Now on to some sillier stuff for the next couple of #'s.

4. Being graceful. I am not sure how the hell I made it 29 years without being in traction. I do some of the stupidest shat. For instance. Tripping over nothing something that shouldn't have been on the ground as I went for the nightstand light. I tripped as I grabbed the lamp switch. Face over the shade and...wait for it...boom full on light bulb in the eyes!

5. Could be considered 4.5, but different slightly, when you are drinking and drink dribbles out the side of your mouth. WHF, who put the tippy cup in my hand. This happened while I was drinking my International Foods Mocha this morning. Thank God for long, thick hair or I would be on here bitching about a burn on my shoulder! Like I said I am graceful.

6. I am not a doctor again why? Oh that's right my husband is such a germ-a-phobic that he would freak out. But in saying that, I have to diagnose whatever his minute-by-minute health related freak outs. He is the healthiest person I know, who thinks he is constantly dying. AND he is now suspected of having the swine flu see next...

Thanks to Drew for the hilarious cartoon!)

7. Big Brother. So, here I go with out trying to delve too far in to the political realm with this but come the hell on the Feds are making lists of their employees that have had or are suspected of having the swine flu. Guess who's fecking name showed up on the list. Me. Yep, Corey's boss reported his being sick over Lo's Bday as AH1N1. Subsequently Logan and I getting sick made us be put on the list too. Corey had the worst of the symptoms with full out all symptoms. Logan had diarrhea, fever, aches and vomiting. I had exhaustion and yacked only once. Yea, still felt like shat for that day and a half. At no time did any member of the family look like this.
I understand the importance of CDC gathering info, but names and family members suspected, come on! Damn Communistic if you ask me.

Added for my own sanity two more little gems.

8. Bottles and bubble packs that you need scissors to open. Now, I can never find a pair to save my life. So I took drastic measures and tore in to it with the sexy beast I tote in my purse:

Take That! You stupid bubble wrapper, and no I didn't use the scissors, I used a saw!

Yes Lisa, I finally got around to posting my Xmas gift form Corey. I asked for an upgraded multi tool w/ a case. I got this bad boy from Cabela's...SCORE! I am the person you want to be lost with as I carry matches, differing size heads for the screw-driver, and 5 bucks t hopefully get us out of the ghetto if we were ever there. Just your average girl scout that wanted to be a boyscout. So I will make up for it as a "grown up." Somewhere I know Les Stroud is beau coup proud of me!

Let's all say it together, "Krimsin has issues." Well at least I am up front about them. When in doubt, go all out.

These are from one of my tweeps, I met through the Collective Soul twitter page.

Marsha117 Had a valid TTOT rants this morning I feel need to be addressed:

1. We should start a petition for ALL federal holidays to be on Fridays! <---hell yes, no Tuesday should feel like a Monday due to a day off. Fridays would be oh so much better.

2."We weren't supposed 2 have 2 do anything & we end up doing it all. Lunch was supposed 2 B here at 11-it came at 9! Total Cluster*$^#!" <--theses are educators. I am truly frightened. I would come saddle up (gotta wear the gear!)

and cattle prod (or taser!) the hell out of the morons...

So that is my short list for the week, and it truly is just that. I even did a good deed and bitched for someone else, I am a shoe in for sainthood for sure! Since I forgot today was Tuesday I think it's fairly decent. For other Awesome blogs with Totally Ticks Me Off Tuesday blogs hit up Midwest Mommy, she is the lady who started it all for me! And this darling pic is from her too!

Word cannot express

exactly how shatty I felt last night. Allergies alone are painful add on cramps from my quarterly peroid (I was advised do to cramping pains to only have it 4 times a year) and whatever the feck was going on with my muscles. It was one of those night you run a fever and your teeth are chattering from the pain type of nights.

It started out like all of my nerves were tingling, everywhere. Clothing was un-comfy but necessary, any time something rubbed against my skin it ached/burned. Than the fun part came about 2:30am, I woke with pain worse than 5 days in labor with no pain killers. All the muscles in my back and legs were constricted while my arms had virtually no strength. I took a muscle relaxer and after 20mins passed out fell asleep only to be awaken an hour later by it getting worse. By this point Corey was annoyed and told me to take a heavier pain killer. Umm, nope took something and didn't want to risk an interaction, you know like death! By morning I felt like I had been on a week long bender. My sinuses drained, ears still full and back with a dull ache. WTF happened last night. What ever it was I hope it never happens again. I usually don't let pain bring me to tears, but last night was likely one of the worst pains I ever felt. I have to like it to my muscles telling my bones to feck off and try to escape. I know in the morning first thing after dropping off Logan I am hitting the gym and stretching out on " the rack" or the stretching machine, and again when I am done for good measure.

On another medical subject, I am sure Kristi will be interested to know: The federal employees are to log whom and whom in their family has had the swine flu. We are on that list according to the Met in Charge at the office because of the sickness Corey had over Logan's birthday. Subsequently, Logan got sick too, and lastly I yacked once and was so exhausted I couldn't function for about a day and a 1/2. So my question is why are federal employees being logged. Not like we would go to get the swine flu vaccination but really, it's none of their business. I understand the whole CDC thing, but I would like to be checked for antibodies at least before being added to some Big Brother list. KWIM?
