After these messages...

Or after this week or so, I should be back The weatherman decided to once again put me through hell optimize his leave and got 16 days off.  He's still alive BTW, in case you were wondering.  There was a visit to hell the inlaws and an attempt on my life at the zoo which both weatherman and Little Dude thought funny as all get out thrown in for added fun.  Let the record show I am not a-feared of heights.  But the loss of control, and the idea of falling at 9.8m/s2 scares the living shat out of me.  And it should you too dammit!  So all in all I have had 3 days to recoup, filled with getting stuff ready for a possible birthday party of Little Dude on Wednesday while Weatherman went back to work.  Guess fricking what?!?! He's off for 3 days again, regular time off.  Skippy.

Random: There is something genetically wrong with Little Dude when Weatherman and I are together.  Little Dude is. from. hell.  I don't know why but I would really love to.  Alone, parenting, he has his moments, but it manageable.  But tag-team parenting, oh HELL no.  So I have been absent for many reasons because there is no time between fighting with them to escape on her and bitch about them.  ;-)

Random: I'm done with Anatomy & Physiology 2 with a B!  Eat that "Professor No one can get a passing grade in my class without taking the lecture course!"

Random: That cool trip I insisted on for this vacation from weatherman's job didn't happen.  Unless you count visiting his parents.  No Great Wolf, no Stanley, no Adventureland.  Annoyed.

For now, that is all or I will have Weatherman leering over my shoulder going, "What'cha doin'" and honestly, I can't have that.  Take care all and know I have been reading your posts, just not writing.

I'll Be Back.

Ticks Me Off Tuesday

I had a fab TMOT set up for this week.  Then Friday came along and we found a set of newborn bunnies has set up shop under the steps of Little Dudes swingset.  There were six.  By Sunday night there were 4.

I at first was blaming Sully for somehow getting through the protective fence we put up and using them as squeak toys.  Not taking into account that mother rabbits are whores by nature, and not good mothers.  She killed those first 2 taking them out of the nest.  Sully was then finding them.  I swear he was even trying to mother them.  He did toss one up in the air but he could have hurt them and didn't.  Very early Monday morning we had a storm roll through with over 80MPH winds and hail.  It was too much for the remaining babies.  So to add to the loss the horrid mother tore the remaining babies to bittles.  The weatherman went out to clean up what was left of them.  I am beside myself, I kind of grew attacked to them.  I had bribed the mother to come back and feed with leaving lettuce and some carrots out for her.  I wish I hadn't, I should have taken them into our house and dropper fed them.  I get the whole circle of life thing, I do.  I even accept it, but it doesn't mean I have to like it.  I would like to find said mother rabbit and the neighbors bee bee gun and use her arse as target practice.  And don't even get me started on the Robin that thinks it needs to nest under the elevated deck.  We thought we were home free when we left to go back to WI in late May.  Sure enough, it was holding out for us to leave.  Nest up and eggs in 4 days.
Luckily all 4 of her brood made it out of the nest that night.  So a little corner of our yard was a zoo for a while.

Mother Nature really deserves this award this week.

So, your turn to post your gripe(s) below. It's time to let it all hang out here, I'm WAY cheaper than a shrink.

Weather or Not...here I come.

I know there has been a lot of late nights with some equally early mornings.  Damn convective weather.  In the last 4 days back at work, the weather man has pulled 30 minutes shy of a double shift with only 6 hours of sleep from the 14 hours he worked the night before that.  Today he was called in 1.5 hours early to do media, phones, and the weather stories as they are still playing catch up with this place and that flooding.  Personally, I don't think private people should be allowed to have Dams...
I think I remember what my husband looks like, you know from pictures and crap.

I stole some time thanks to Harry Potter to join in my first 2 twitter parties hosted by SupahMom they were quite fun!  She is a hoot check out her blog.  I am also currently doing reviews for both ToothSoap, and Wen by Chaz Dean.  I want to give them both a couple weeks and I will have the results posted on my review blog.

I have been passing the time lot's and lot's of time with Little Dude.  He misses his Dad, it was really bad last night.  I called to see if we could just for a few minutes come to see him.  He didn't get what I meant, "I can call talk to him for a couple minutes on the phone."  WTH!  Are you clueless?  Yes, is the answer if you didn't get the sarcasm.  To fill the void of Dad, I invited over one of his his hommies yesterday.  He got motion sick after playing Cars on the Wii.  They played a total of 3 games, even I don't get motion sick THAT fast.  Personally, I can't watch Little Dude play that either, because I get sick too.  Poor hommie.
I had to finish off the chess game with LD after the hommie left.  I rewarded myself for the first time in months with a night of reading my kindle after Little Dude went to bed last night.  It was wonderful 2.5 hours of unadulterated quiet bliss.  I plan on doing it again soon, maybe tonight.   This is what summer is supposed to be like, not having to cram in study time for a class over the summer.  A class by the way 5/9 tests in and I have a B in it!!!   But first we have Men in Black which we watched together, and then I took to the kitchen to clean the floors, watch NCIS, all the while having my MP3 player on.  Little Dude was watching the new show on Toon Network
don't judge me, we had fun. called Unnatural History.  It's from what I understand a kid who has lived all over the world is brought home by his parents to go to school at a high school inside the Smithsonian-like school.  Where he gets in all sorts of different situations that have to do with martial arts and history.  Two things my son totally loves.  For those not knowing Little Dude personally his dream is either to become an astronomer working at the Smithsonian, a librarian because he loves books, or a Movie Star/Rock Star.  Oh did I mention my son is going to be 6 on the 22nd of next month?

Yesterday, we discovered there was a gigantic spider living in the kitchen.  I told the weatherman.  Needless to say on his to-do list, hunting it down and killing it was not high.  Soo shortly after he left to go in early to work again, the lil bastard showed his beady eyes again.  Close to the ceiling.  So I had to take matters into my own hands.  Standing on a bar stool, that turned I know I have a death wish I took the eco friendly bug killer and put the smack down on that creepy SOB.  Side note: eco friendly as you want, it's still going to wreak to wholly heck when you use over 1/2 the can to knock the dam thing out.  Finally before killing all my brain cells, I got him to the ground.  I then whipped out the fly swatter with extreme prejudice.  After hitting his a few times he didn't die.  So drastic measures had to be taken.  I took a shoe and squished it, not my own mind you, cuz that's just yucky.  So here is who got my wrath:
(actual creepy crawlie)
Ugly SOB isn't it?  Well now, it's a dead SOB too!

I think I am going to retire to my the sanctuary of my Kindle, Little Dude is asleep, and sure enough, the weatherman is still working.  Little Dude has day camp in the morning and all week this week, to get the "cast" ready for the show on Friday evening, Lord knows they would be sad without their little billboard to not promote the program.  Funny thing is, he loves every flipping minute of it.  Put a camera on him, snap a photo, or put him on stage, he'll make it his home.  I guess some things are genetic.  Plus this week, we have 2 baseball games, tae kwon do, Sully the Havanese is going in for a haircut, get to the gym at least 3 times, I have to find time to study, call and reserve times for swimming lessons if there is still times available, AND find out when LD and his hommie can go see Toy Story 3.
(All pics via Google images less personal ones)
Don't judge, I know over 1/2 of you are going to go see it too, "for the kids sake" of course...
I may withhold Ticks Me Off Tuesday, I have to see how Sully's hair turns out, if you get my drift.  Of course I am sure something will just piss me off to no end before Tuesday too, or I will remember something.  Lol

I Want to Washout the Weatherman's Mouth

...With Toothsoap!

So how do I get things at Casa King?  Other then pout, I try to show The Weatherman how it will conform to his personal OCD's.  Most think I am joking wen I talk about there, I'm not.  One of his favorite OCD's is teeth brushing.  Four or so times a day, meaning he gets sick of tooth paste very quickly.  That being said he is a bruxer, as am I and has pitted his teeth as well as having deep grooves that in his youth were not sealed.  He has had many, many issues even with his constant brushing.  Nothing seems to have tripped his fancy.  Common excuses for switching toothpastes: It's not foamy enough, I don't know if it is truly good for my teeth, my teeth are sensitive but I still want whitinging.  So, in true Weatherman fashion, he buys sooo many cleaning products uses them once or twice and puts them in a drawer.  I want that one thing, one tooth care product, in an assortment of flavors.  Natural would be stellar.  Something all of us could use, out of this world.

Enter the internet sensation spreading like wildfire around my bloggity circles.  Toothsoap.
My interest was peaked from the get go.  Natural, check.  Safe for all in Casa King, double check.  AND AND they have it for dogs, oh baby, baby!  I gotta try this stuff, I want to review this stuff, hook The Weatherman on it, Little Dude and Sully and continue to buy this stuff.  I want to be on team toothsoap!
So my goal is to blog about them, tweet about them, heck even Facebook about them, to let them know of my interest and have them send a sample of one human and one for dog to Casa King.  I think hooking Weatherman, and having a difference in Sully's rabbit poo eating grill would forever hook the weatherman, kind of how I hooked the Weatherman on Wen for our hair.  Wish me luck!

Sanity is Sooo Overrated

MY adoring audience that tunes in to see the crap I go thru I have many many things I can say tonight.  That BIG interview for the Indi job, yep the weatherman all but screwed the pooch on it.  I always tell him, "be like me, be a bitch honest."  This would be the one damn time in 13 years he did it.  I blame it on the lack of caffeine in his diet.  They asked him his biggest mistake since joining the Weather circus, he says moving from LaCrosse.  Fair enough answer right, it's a good office, in a dream location, and not just because it's MY stomping grounds.  But he didn't stop there, he elaborated on it.  Still not so bad eh?  Well, he left LaCrosse to go to another CWSU (if you don't know what it is, that's coolio, it's where all the non-airport air traffic controllers "work").  Oh did I mention it was a MIC (Meteorologist in Charge) of one of these said places he was interviewing for?  He has heard nothing yeah or neh on the job, sending him spiraling into OCD/anxiety hell.  Here is the kicker, he told the Gods honest, stack of bibles truth!  He's [pissed at himself for telling the fricking TRUTH!  Like I again said to him today, most have this personal growth moment in their late teen early 20's.  He's forty.  I told him it's a pain in the arse having to bang heads with suck an annoying, irrational person isn't it.  Welcome to the last 13 years of my flipping life.  We had that moment of of crap for him.  He is now finally growing as a person, he wasn't a bad one before, but had no freaking balls too much an eager to please yes man at work.   Once he left the office, he was always a pain in the butt.

Now with every action there must be a equal reaction right?  Ri-ght, with normal people.  I need to take a flippin bottle of anti-anxiety pills and crush them up into that crap he calls food.  I am truly about at wits end.  He is mentally checked out.  He has a horrid case of the Should-have/what-ifs.  Isn't there a law somewhere in some marriage doctoring somewhere that says when they start doing this crap you can beat them with a Stephens extended cut-a-way or something? I happen to have an extra on handy...  For every action in his life there is a peroid of time to freak out before, be fine during and go all to bittle afterward.  We are there now.  Even Little Dude asked when Daddy was coming back from la la land this evening while I was installing the new shower head and he was being sick in another bathroom from it all.  Dude, the kid knows it's not right.  That means there is hope for him right?

The slap in my face came when the docs a couple months back pegged my asthma attacks on anxiety.  THe weatherman said it may be a good idea to go on it again and see how it works.  Esss-suce me?  Why?  Because I had Post pardom depression.  My family, not one of them gave enough shit about me after little dude was born to even look.  I was in a new place with no friends to notice. It took 18 months after giving birth for me to finally start to cry out of frusteration in the Docs office.  Here, take a happy pill, so I don't have to deal with your tears. Thanks for that stigma in my records Dr. Asshat!  So now when ever I have any issues it's "you could be depressed."  Umm, no.  I deal with a busy accelerated 5 year old, and husband who makes split second decisions at work but can't once he gets home, but I am not to the medicate me point.  Don't get me wrong, if you need something to take the edge off and not go postal, by all means, but I'm not to this point.  I would love form time to time to ring the weatherman's neck, sometimes Little Dude, and don't get me started on Mr. I crap into the wind, dog.  But all and all I am sane.  Oh and what they were calling anxiety attacks was an allergic reaction to my hypoallergenic earrings.  Nice job quacks!

There was no news on the job this week.  Either way an email usually goes out for or not for a job.  He could still get it, they could respect hi for his honesty, I know I do.  Even at the expense of moving out of hillbilly hell.  He walked the walk, and it was hard.  But isn't it always the first time?  I know it will be a long weekend of hand feeding his ego and assuring him he did the right thing.  BTW, he was NOT like this when I met him.  OCD's were mild, there was not self doubt.  I know this I am not going to make myself nuts trying to figure out why he is this way now.  I have a feeling, an inkeling, it has everything to do with his mother.  Pray for, light a candle, or burn some road kill for my sanity if you are so inclined.  I plan on shielding LD as best I can and pointing out this is not normal, assuring weatherman blah blah blah and maybe even brushing He-who-poops-into-the-wind.

Thanks if you made it this far without slitting your wrists with paper.  Till later.

Mostly Wordless Wednesday

It's like Mr Hankey the Christmas Poo, but a toy for your dogs. We had a rescue Sheltie who used to eat her poop, and it was sooo nasty.  Why, less for a gag gift would you buy this for your pet?

Ticks Me Off Tuesday

So it's been a while, I know.  It's really hard to take the proper time to complain when those whom most complaints are about are all up in yo grill 24/7.

It was a chaotic couple weeks.  LD is now in 1st grade, oh good lord!  Summer together time is in full swing, I need to find a therapist and put them on speed dial.  We will get back to Little Dude.
The weatherman has once again out done himself.  More stuff to OCD about. More on him later too.
Sully the Havanese.  Sully, Sully, Sully.  My darling furball.  Havanese by nature are super smart.  Sully is not dumb, just lazy.  For goodness sakes, he doesn't lift his leg to take a leak.  Fine neither did my male Papillon back in the day.  One thing my pap didn't do that Sully-mander does do is crap ALL over himself!  This is a new occurrence, the last 2 almost 3 months.  It's just windy here in Nebraska hillbilly hell, taking a crap into the wind doesn't help at all.  I got him groomed the 20th before our trip so he was all saucy to deal with my MIL.  He comes home and craps all over his trousers!  Dog crap FAIL!!!!  So I go and clean him.  after vaca I text my groomer, I'm a VIP yo so I have her Bat-line.  She offers to trim him down.  Did it work?  For a freaking day.  He keeps this up, I will have him cut down, and not like last year, like this:
Oh yes I will cut him like a Lowchen.
On to the weatherman.  He has been off for forever almost 3 weeks it's like a full on OCD-fest.

We have been to Omaha, Wisconsin, back to Omaha, and a week of we3king's time at home.  Did stuff get done around the house?  Sure, I will give him that.  But it is always on HIS time, his way or he throws a man-fit.
Drives me up the flipping wall.   It was a bit of everything really.  At the spur of the moment, I wanna do this, lets do this, no I don't want to do that, not anymore.  Like a second child really, and let's be honest his Mother I am NOT!  Then the jobs come into view.  More to OCD on.  My saving grace yesterday was he began to OCD on the job and not little things around casa King.  He forwarded his work email to his Droid, and I will give him props.  He found out he was will be attending the LEAD program for this summer.  As well as finding out in order to get an interview for Indi job, he had 36 hours to do 4 essays and get them submitted back to the selecting officials.  He did and has an interview on Thursday in the morning.  He's uneasy about the personality of one of the workers.  But, knows he can handle it, AFTER a full day of mentally checking out. Yesterday...

After not much thought Little Dude decided even after weatherman said he was shutting the windows in the truck, he still wanted  his window opened.  He told his father as much, but with "Dad ears," and mentally checking out he did not hear.  Little Dude is now sporting a splint on his middle finger.  He also know knows that no matter how strong he is:  an automatic window is stronger...
He milked it for all it was worth too, got a new set of construction toys and a slush out of his guilt ridden father.  By the end of the night, he was sleeping soundly, with a set of new toys.
All in all, it has been a busy couple weeks, school out for Little Dude visiting family, and the zoo.  Not related, really the Omaha Zoo.  lol  I also had more time then I would have cared for with my MIL, and pretty much ended whatever relationship I had left with my mother.  These last 2 weeks or so can bite me.  To end it today, I thought there was daytime Tae Kwon Do.  After all, I got the email saying, "daytime classes for those in baseball."  She should have said non Little Dragons.  We drove into town for nothing, and will do it all again before 4.
My winner of this weeks Ticks Me Off Tuesday Award is the last two weeks!
So, your turn to post your gripe(s) below. It's time to let it all hang out here, I'm WAY cheaper than a shrink. *All non personal pics, from Google Images.*
